Providing a Familiar to a Cleric

Advice

I thought I saw a feat or an archetype or something that provided a cleric the ability to obtain a familiar, and eventually an improved familiar like an imp. I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If more specifics would help; in my homebrew, I have a cult that worships a pantheon of demonic-like immortals. They are rather ancient egyptian-like in culture. I'd like higher level priest to be able to have a imp or quasit familiar if I can make it fit. If not, I can create some kind of prestige class.

Skill Focus: Knowledge (Any) -> Eldritch Heritage (Arcane) gets you a familiar. Improved Familiar gets the Imp.

There is also the Diabolist prestige class, which gets a Imp familiar right off the bat and has pretty easy to fulfill requirements.

I believe both the Drow and Tieflings get archetypes that do this in the ARG. Can't remember the names offhand and my book isn't here, but yeah.

Thank you, that's what I was looking for.

In addition there are some domains that grant familiars.

I think Nature domain grants you an animal companion...

I saw the eagle domain but as far as I can tell it is only for druids..

Other nature-themed classes with access to domains may select an animal or terrain domain in place of a regular domain.

Clerics can take the eagle domain, too. As well as the frog or serpent domain.

Which gods would qualify for being nature themed enough is something else. But I'd guess that every god granting the animal domain could grant the specialized animal domains as well.

EDIT: I hope if I ever get to play in a pirate campaign, I'll remember the frog domain.

Don't forget the Monkey Domain.
