I thought you only got extra damage on a charge if you were mounted and using a lance. Am I missing something?
Um. Only the fact that I've been playing a cavalier a lot and the multiplied damage on a charge seemed perfectly normal to me.
*blush*
I stand by my maths, but not my choice of weapon for the example.
A sneak attacking rogue, mounted on a hose and wielding a lance, would double his damage and then add his sneak dice - if the situation ever occurred.

I saw the Skulking Slayer archetype in the ARG, for Half-orcs, and it says that you get a larger sneak attack die (d8s vs d6s) when you charge with a two-handed weapon.
My question is "how?" Does the first hit count as a sneak attack if you started the round not being seen? Because the concept of charging out of the shadows and "sneak attack" seems kinda iffy to me.

'Sneak Attack' is a misnomer.
From the rogue description of it (emphasis mine).
"If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage."
Nothing needs to actually be sneaky about it, you just need to know where the vital points on an enemy are.

As Sean says, charge into flanking. Additionally, anytime before your opponents have acted, while invisible or in darkness. At higher levels the archetype gains the ability to feint as a swift action which gives you an opportunity on pretty much every charge.

Turn invisible. You'd need to turn your mount invisible too, I suppose.
