Spellsong & Bardspell

Rules Questions

Everyone loves Spellsong, right?

You can combine your bardic performance and your spellcasting in two ways. First, you can conceal the activity of casting a bard spell by masking it in a performance.

Second, as a move action, you can use 1 round of bardic performance to maintain a bard spell with a duration of concentration.

So... what's a "bard spell"? Would any spell that's on the Bard's list qualify?

on their list, yep

What's the proper, non-clunky way of referring to spells cast through bard class features?

Not sure what you're referring to here, what spells are cast through class features?

I meant "Spells that are cast through bard spell slots"

You have a good point, Cheapy. And I think I may have to dislike you for it. Or at least my will-now-never-exist sneaky Evangelist will.

Not that there're really all that many Cleric spells on the Bard list anyway, but still.

I wasn't trying to make a point really, just trying to think what would be a good way to describe that. Magus and spell combat has the same issue, in that you need to use magus spells.

Which is a bit ambiguous (and has spawned a billion [ok, 15] threads on the issue) when you take into mind my question.

It can either mean a spell that's on the bard list (no matter what class you get it from) or a spell that's cast with bard spell slots.
