Just as in real life the most common and famous last words are "Oh sh*t!" In the immortal words of Bill Cosby, "first you say it, then you do it!"

Mindflayer:<now annoyed at yapping guy who threw a dagger at him comes down to fight> He then grapples the rogue. In the following rounds the other tentacles are attached, and brain extraction occurs. He then levitates again, and goes back to harassing the party.
