With the given string of "discussion" threads we've had lately. It's time for a lighthearted fun thread.

Here are the rules of the thread

to post in this thread you have to do one of the following or all of them :)

1. State minimum one thing that You love/adore/gamergasm over that Paizo has done or that you've found in PFS.

2. "Tag" another person in your thread, that person should hopefully answer "tagging" another person and so on and so forth *zomg games are fun people*

3. Flood your post with glitter

I'll even go first:

I love the fact that Paizo has A: created a game that we can all love and enjoy and B: that we live in a free enough world that we can all meet in a common "space" and discuss that game.

I'm going to tag *Jiggy*

Ack! Long strings of characters without spaces hurt my browser! Arrrrgh!

*ahem*

I like the way Mike Brock's been handling PFS since his rise to power. I feel very optimistic about where PFS is headed, and I already can't wait for Season 4. :)

I also love the environment that Paizo has created here, and the community! The fact that Paizo spends some time "amongst the mortals" as it were really makes us feel appreciated, and makes it that much easier to give them my money...

It's not much my thing, but here, for the bunny... *glitter*

  • I loved it when I found a psuedo-Egytian setting in Golarion.
  • I loved it when Paizo published so much Greyhawk in Dragon and Dugeon magazines. A lot of us old Greyhawkers found a fondness for Golarion through Erik Mona and Lisa Stevens.
  • I loved it recently when Mike Brock and Erik Keith helped me straighten out my two PFS numbers and get my characters all straightened out.
  • I loved it when they raised the retirement restriction allowing me to fall in love with playing my Living Monolith again.
  • I always love it when a good thread makes me laugh.
  • I loved it when Majuba offered to buy me a ticket to PaizoCon, just to get me to go with him.

    Thanks, Drogon!

I love that Pathfinder improved and clarified some of the mechanics from 3.5 that desperately needed to be changed (Turn Undead, I'm looking at you!) in order to make sense.

I love that Pathfinder makes it an ideal choice to advance a character in along a single class, with favored class bonuses and end-cap abilities.

I love that Pathfinder makes it advantageous to be human!

I love that I can continue to enjoy the game I love from both sides of the screen now that I have built a fairly strong stable of GMs in my local area, thanks in part to advice given by Painlord on how to recruit new players and GMs. (Last week, I got to play for the first time since February! My Ulfen barbarian got to kill a dragon! He plans to retire to his homeland with its head in tow... yeah, it's not a linnorm, but he doesn't care!)

I love that PFS has opened me to expanded my experiences; I have learned to play, GM, and organize games for people that other wise might have remained "outside my comfort zone"... and enjoy it.

I love the feel of belonging to a larger group having the same shared experiences I am!

I love that others have thought highly enough of me to entrust me with the position of Venture-Lieutenant. I don't usually think of myself as a "leader" amongst others; again, an expansion of my comfort zone!

I love how I can run the same scenario over and over again and see different groups approach it from all kinds of varied angles... it is truly amazing to see how differently people will handle a situation!

I especially love that my son (8) and daughter (soon to be 10!) are both now avid Pathfinder players... even more than video games!

And I think I'll tag in Seth Gipson (Disturbed1)...

I'm glad that Paizo has given me a chance to continue the fun that 3.5 was, with streamlined rules, without having to pay over the top costs for new (to me) product, and that I get to buy it to help support a company I love, instead of one (Wotc) who I am still quite annoyed with cause they went to 4e and also cause they stopped making Star Wars Miniatures.

I LOVE that PFS has gotten me to the point where I want to design a few new characters, but I have no idea what I want to build, cause there are just SO MANY options out there.
I used to get the basics of the character concept down and then work out the rest of the fluff and crunch together. Now I feel like I have to get the entire fluff part down before I can do any crunch. :P

    Glitter Magic item:

    Decanter of Endless Glitter
    Aura moderate transmutation; CL 9th
Slot —; Price 9,000 gp; Weight 2 lbs.
    Description
If the stopper is removed from this ordinary-looking flask and a
command word spoken, an amount of glitter (silver, purple, or multi-colored) pours
out. Separate command words determine the color of glitter as
well as the volume and velocity.
    • “Stream” pours out 1 gallon per round.
    • “Fountain” or "Fire-hose" produces a 5-foot-long stream at 5 gallons per round.
    • “Geyser” produces a 20-foot-long, 1-foot-wide stream at 30
    gallons per round.
The geyser effect exerts considerable pressure, requiring the
holder to make a DC 12 Strength check to avoid being knocked down
each round the effect is maintained. In addition, the powerful force of
the geyser deals 1d4 points of non-leathal damage per round to a creature that is subjected to it. The geyser can only affect one target per round, but the user can direct the stream of glitter without needing to make an attack role to strike the target since the geyser’s constant flow allows for ample opportunity to aim. Creatures with the booring subtype take 2d4 points of damage per round from the geyser rather than 1d4. The command word must be spoken to stop it.
    Construction
Requirements Craft Wondrous Item, control glitter; Cost 4,500 gp
