Special abilities given to a character that can sign in drow

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Are there any special abilities (not spells) that my charachter can do if he is able to sign in drow, even tho he is not drow. I understand if human like it can be done. What do you think?

Special abilities? Like doing something magical? I don't think so. It will let him communicate non-verbally with others who know drow sign language. It won't let him cast spells silently though. It doesn't confer any magical properties. It's just a language, like common, elvish, abyssal or terran.

1. He can make an awesome cats cradle that looks like a spider's web.

2. He can give people the finger in a way that they think he's giving them the Vulcan salute.

3. He's halfway to knowing how to offer a Masonic handshake.

4. He can now play the 1812 Overture on Unseen University's pipe organ.

Ask your Gamemaster. There are no special powers or abilities inherent in using drow sign other than the ability to converse normally with others who know the language and not make sound and the inability to converse in it if you cannot see each others hands.

He be keepin' it real with his homies in the click. Arr.

Ain't magic. Just folks. Word.

He can use the safe word while ball gagged by a typical whips and leather drow female. That is pretty special.

This is Drow. There ARE NO safe words.

Instead, he can plead for mercy to any drow he meets. Oh wait, there's probably no word for 'mercy' in that language. Maybe just say 'I'm more useful alive than dead'?

Sure there is, nothing turns a drow lady off faster than a guy who says he's enjoying it.
