Fast and efficient selfbuffing

Advice

Hi folks!

I need some advice. Our GM likes to surprise us, so we won't have much time to buff.
We mostly buff in combat.
So I need an effective melee build with fast buffing abilities.

My thoughts until now:

Vivisectionist 1/Barbarian x
with boots of speed

Free action to activate the haste effect, standard action1 drink mutagen, standard action2 drink a potion of enlarge person (I can create it with the alchemist), free action start rage and with the move action engage the enemy.

That gives me +10 Str and large size.

Is there a more efficient way?
Character Level 9-10, 25 points buy, Core, Advanced and both Ultimates allowed except metamagic rods and the eastern classes/weapons.
The most expensive item may cost 1/3 of the average wealth per level.
Maybe some little things from other paizo sources but don't rely on that.

Accelerated Drinker trait will help you down potions as a move action.

I don't think haste grants an extra standard action.

Sadly I don't think the GM will allow this trait.

Lokiron
You are right, I misread the spell.

Ok, I am down to +8 Str in one round. Are there more options?

Isn't there an alchemist bit that lets you drink a poition and hold it's effects for a short time?

Tumor familiar with a wand of enlarge person?

Spell storing cestus or two (or three or four if you've got enough arms and attacks (against yourself of course. Alchemist with vestigial arms discovery. Varios wands of buffage. High UMD score.

the drunken brute barbarian archetype gives the ability to drink a potion as a move action.

What else has your DM disallowed?

Dont forget your handy haversack to get the potions you want when you need them. Prior to this the masterwork backpack is a good option.

IMO, it is better to focus on longer duration buffs than it is to focus on action economy after the encounter has started. Taking rounds to buff during combat are rounds wasted when you could have been doing something more effective.

Aside from that the suggestions given here are good.

As I know the additonal arms don't give me more actions per round, so I can't use them for buffing.

My GM allow core rulebook, APG and UM/UC
Other sources are not allowed. Maybe I can ask him to make a few excetions.
He don't like massive multiclassing either.

I am now on a vivisectionist/beastmorph 3 + Barbarian x
This gives me +4 str mutagen, +2 str alter self and +4 str rage bonus for a total of +10
Additional 2d6 sneak damage.

Looks good for one round

Thanks for the advice!

Unless there is something specific you are looking to get out of Barbarian I think just a single level would do.
