Eidolon Naming Issue

Advice

I want a cool name for my Eidolon. I'm going for dragon. I did not go the traditional route for dragon though. I took aquatic (we're doing a pirate campaign) and will add limbs later along with wings and breath attack. However, I'm going for a Brine Dragon appearance. I need a good name for it though. My name, the summoner, is Thorn Quickfang. He is planning on going into Dragon Disciple. So I need a cool dragon name for the Eidolon. I tried Oromis but everyone kept calling it orifice and that's disgusting. So. Any ideas?

I'm a sucker for Seiryu, but that'd work better for an Imperial water dragon than a Primal water dragon.

Frankly, I'd stick with Oromis and have your eidolon eat anybody who makes fun of it.

how about Solarius. Don't know what it means, if anything, i just put syllables together. Or Urgadine, or, for that matter, if you wanted something classical, you could go for Oceanus.

Cecil?
Nessie?
Wet Willie?

Orm Embar? Smaug? Ancalagon the Purple?

Go for the classics, I say.

From the classic RPG Legend of Dragoon, I like both Feyrbrand and Regole as dragon names. The other dragon from the game, Michael, is...a tad less unique in name. :)

"Yessir, dis is Bob. Bob da dragon. Say hi, Bob."

"DA BEARS!"

Or be ironic and name him George, after the saint who slew a...wait for it...a dragon.

I would like to point out that no jokes that Drunken Dragon makes are funny.

That is all.

Also, just name it Rex. If you name it something fancy, all of the other players will call it "your summon-y thing."

I appreciate all the wonderful suggestions. You've all been a wonderful help

Wait! I have last minute suggestions! When I think of a dragon and don't want to name it dragon I would name it: Hunter or Drake(that means dragon). But considering it's a water dragon, I would go with my little sister's favorite game(skylanders spyro's adventure) they have a water dragon named Zap. But if you want a latin name, Hydra or Hydro(depending on the gender) means water. Any of these I would pick, have fun with this:)

What are you going to pick so I can use the names you didn't for my eidolon.

Nothing. Just be sure to have the loudest and most outgoing of your players yell out to unleash it periodically. ;)

I might have to name it Kraken now. Just to hear my friend yell RELEASE THE KRAKEN! lol thanks to Cornielius for the suggestion!

Gyarados. :)

Kraken is good, but not very dragony to my liking. I had an aquatic dragon named Nahtaivel in a campaign. It's just the ananym of Leviathan the ancient hebrew sea monster of awesome :)

Sounds like a fancy way to say 'not evil'. Just who are you trying to convince :)

Myself mostly :P I once saw a campaign where Vecna had somehow corrupted Bahumut beyond evil.. made Tiamat look like puppies and sunshine, and used the Ananym of Tum Uhab (Toom yoohayb) I like ananyms because they sometimes come out awesome, other times not so much..
