I check every morning or so. Glad to see the activity though. I think with the Kickstarter video coming out soon we will see new faces popping up around the forums. And my Shattered Star AP is going well. 3 of the 6 members are from GL.
GrumpyMel is our Norse/Viking-Like Fighter. Swinging a golden bastard sword in 1-hand while fend of attacks with a heavy dark wood shield in the other. Combine this with his full plate armor and there aren’t many foes that can get through his mighty defenses.
Waruko is a Cat-Folk Ranger. When she isn't sleeping or generally being the quiet type, she’s an all-around scary archer. Drawing from a wide variety of arrows for every situation there are very few things that she can't harm. Also given she’s can't smell her enemy coming it’s very hard to get the drop on this character.
Valinar is a Kitsune Oracle of Life. He might not be the strongest fighter but, his crossbow is known to get a lucky shot now and then. He real power is healing though and man does he ever have a lot of it. And if that isn't enough ask him about his magical tails or the fact that he can turn into pure positive energy.
Our other members are potential recruits but, are too involved with post-secondary commitments to officially join.
Swashbuckler Jim is our main-stay wizard of the old and snappy variety. When he isn't crafting items for the party at a modest fee, he is flinging fireballs, scorching rays and acid darts at foes. All the while teleporting like no tomorrow, it’s very hard to ever catch his character in a bind quite literally. While Constructs and Fire Element Baddies give him a run for his money there isn’t much that this wizard can’t turn to ash.
Mangotango is our body-switched Samurai. In the last session this demon-spawned tiefling had the unfortunate experience of being on the wrong side of a phantasmal killer which made his heart explode. In an odd twist of fate he found himself waking in the body of an Azlanti female. Even though he is now unable to don his traditional samurai armor he is still a force to be reckoned with, delivering massive damage with his magically enhanced Katana.

Ah well that's to bad man. Although the good news is we will probably be seeing you more online on TS. If everyone has time on a Saturday or Sunday morning we could possibly change it to then. I will be online on Thursday either way.
Come online TS and Chat Andy when you got the time.
Also Anyone wanting to play Planetside 2 when it launches in November. We will be launching on a US West Sever with the NC faction. I will be creating a GL outfit for all to join. Some of the Older GL members will be joining like Karken for some of you more familiar with the TS regulars.

Thursday we will have a meeting. And for anyone who can't make it we will have a gathering on Saturday. Nothing formal just kinda a hang out day to talk about PFO and other stuff. This way atleast everyone should be able to attend 1 of the 2 days. Hopefully the Tech Demo Video will be released before Saturday at the latest.

Cool see you then Val. Thursday turned out more so to be a stop in a chat day than meeting. A few people logged in at various times without there being more than 3 people at once. Was good to talk to you guys and got to meet some people new to the teamspeak.
As for Saturday. Not sure about the timing but, probably some time afternoon.

Given it isn't yet known when/if there will be a new GoblinWorks forum separate the paizo forums how would people feel about restating this topic at some point?
There are a few major errors in the original post, and I think if one thing is clear it's that GL will not be a chartered company. We will be a settlement or kingdom based on the size we are likely to achieve by the time of PFO's launch date.
I think GL should aim to have a new topic up by January 1st 2013. So if you haven't RSVPed for 2013 on Facebook you should go do so now lest you get left behind when armageddon rolls around.
In the meantime I'd like people to put some thought into what they would like to see in the original post of the new topic, and whether we should claim ourselves as a kingdom or a settlement.
One thing for sure is I would like to open things up so chartered companies can apply to be a part of our settlements and if we go kingdom we should open things up so settlements can apply to join our kingdom.

Ah ok makes sense now. Yeah I am not buying into that 2012 end of the world business.
As for Guild Business I will be planning another day to have a guild meeting after the Tech Demo or a major blog has been released. I want to take the time to poll the guild and find out which day would be best for a meeting night. This way we can accommodate for as many people as possible.

If you have a RP-background/concept for your character, what is it?: Nothing as yet, I'm creating him now. However, the name is extrapolated from the company I work for ("rana" is the Latin word for "frog") and my own surname ("Wyrht" is one of the oldest known versions of "Wright" and both mean "worker" or "woodworker".)
I'm not sure if I will have more than one character as I'm not sure if it will be effective to craft and fight with the same character yet. Ran Wyrht will most likely be a Ranger.
Hope I'm not too late to join, just got back into RPG's after about a 5 year break or so many RL time issues new job, new wife new kid's ect
Found Pathfinder fell in love all over again now the PFO sounds too good to be true anyway what needs to be done I want to be involved.

I probably will not close recruitment at any point unless there is a large push in the council to make GL more exclusive. That isn't my goal at this point or any point I can foresee. I want pretty much everyone who supports and follows our ideology.
The one exception to this is if being a part of established companies is a way to gain automatic access to the first 5000 ingame, I will close GL's recruiting as soon as it is announced GL is one of the companies getting in. People will still be allowed to join unofficially but I don't want members who are here purely to get a free ticket into the game.

Well Paladins not only stand for Good they stand for Order. Also since your a paragon of the LG alignment not being LG kinda ruins that.

Makes sense. I wonder how they are going to do the first wave. I would hope that the people who have been active in the community would not get overlooked. And at the very least all the goblin squad members get in.

Chuck, I understood where you were comming from that's why I am still undecided between those 2 role's do I want to be a icon/symbol of good to the world or just I want to blaze an independent trail still good but not in your face about it.. in fact the farther away would be better for the type of role "thwip" ;)

It's great to see all these new faces. To those who have applied and do not have the Teamspeak info let me know. I'll PM it to you. Our Teamspeak address is not a highly guarded secret since you need to be granted rights to do much, but I prefer not to make it OVERLY public. So feel free to share it with friends who might be interested, I just don't want to post it in this topic / these boards for now at least.
