Sadly can't make the meeting on Friday, I'm the co-ordinator for a regional PFS game day that starts nice and early on Saturday. And I know I'll be taking care of paperwork, shuffling tables, moving judges...all the stuff that needs to be done for a mini-con.
If you post what the topics will be, I can go ahead and toss my two cents in. Or PM if it is stuff not fit for a public forum.

Topics To Be Covered At Friday's Meeting
1. Star Citizen and how to organize things as a multi-game clan so as to enhance each division.
2. Re-making this topic as a settlement or kingdom topic.
3. The website and the Teamspeak.
4. GL's art assets. Possibly working on a promotional trailer.
There is a lot of important ground to cover so likely me, Jak, and whoever else shows up can get started. But we can have an additional meeting to refine things and cover anything we don't have time for in the first.

I understand the excitement for many in regards to Star Citizen, but I will admit I am a bit concerned how it could affect GL’s motivation and drive for PFO.
But I will talk more on this at the meeting.
In my opinion there are two types of gamers:
1. Gamers that dedicate themselves entirely to a single game.
2. Gamers that like to play several games at a time, or switch between games of focus.
Type 2 gamers tend to get bored with single game clans and will become less active or leave entirely. Because of that, I think a clan that has divisions in multiple games of different styles can strengthen itself by encouraging it's type 2 members to stay within the clan.
Of course this can also lead to a split in the attention of the leadership, which weakens all divisions, or may strengthen one and weaken the others.
My intention is to identify the type 1 gamers in each division and put them in positions of power meant to be fairly steady. The type 2s we can encourage to try other branches of GL when they leave their division.
Of course most gamers are a mix of type 1 and 2 but you get the general idea.

What parts of GL's ideology do you find most appealing: enforce good manners through military might. don't tiptoe around the occasional assassination/covert mission for the greater good
If you have a RP-background/concept for your character, what is it?: happy go lucky gnome, looking to make his way in the world. Preferably item-crafter & explorer.

Honestly, I was a bit lost as well, Andius. I thought Waruko was talking about Jak responding to my post, and therefore calling me a troll. :)

I do love gnomes. In fact I'm playing a Illusionist/Thief in Baldur's Gate EE right now.

Nah hobbun. Theres a guy stirring up drama on the forums and kickstarter. Basically I gave him some guff and told him that hes going about the wrong way to make his concerns heard. I mean accusing the devs of ignoring major problems and calling their supporters mindless cheerleaders is not the way to get your point across. Waruko basically said it was a waste of my time.
@ Waruko I am going to keep with my Half-elven Blade. Even if hes pretty weak right now. I am sure he will get better.

Not gaming as much as I used to these days, but very keen on getting into PFO and very keen on joining an organized, good-aligned clan to start with so here is my application:

How did you hear about GL: Paizo Forum
Why do you want to join GL: I have historically been a member of / in charge of very small guilds or organizations. Time to try something new with what looks to be becoming a larger one.
What parts of GL's ideology do you find most appealing: Heavy Good-Aligned focus. Ambitions for significant impact in the game.
If you have a RP-background/concept for your character, what is it?:
Diplomatic character. Seeks redemption of foes rather than their destruction, but will not hesitate to slay those beyond hope.
More specifics will be worked on as game nears readiness (we have 1 - 3 years based on kickstarter outcome), and will vary some by role - which I will choose after having a better picture of where we might have some holes. Tend to favor healers in MMOs.
Edit: Also, already backed at $100 level

Welcome life dragon. Yeah there is still a lot of stuff that could make people change their minds about the paths/races we will play. Most of us are making best guesses at this point. I know someone who has changed there idea approximately 10 or 11 times since the ending of the tech demo kickstarter.

Hey guys. I'm in for the MMO. No one else in my guild is interested in the game atm. I would be very interested in joining up with your group. The idea of banding together to help out newer players and try and keep the peace sounds awesome to me.
At present my time is limited, but come closer to Beta I would be very interested in joining.

Welcome JDNYC. In the interest of getting to know you better I would love to see your answers to our new applicant form, which you can copy from Lifedragn's post if you scroll up a bit.
That being said it sounds like you will be a great addition to our group. Furthermore I would be glad to have any of the members of your guild join up with us, or even sponsor your company if enough come over as long as they share our good aligned tendencies.

Unfortunate you can't make it but, Andius usually provides a good summary of anything important done/talked about during the meetings. So people can chime in after if they want to.
Howdy JDNYC. Maybe your friends will come around after more has been released on the game. I know a couple of mine are watching the Kickstarter sitting on the fence.
Speaking of which, we hit 15% of the total goal just recently on the KS. Not bad for the first couple days

Item 1: GL will be creating a fund to cover real world expenses. Solemor will look into the appropriate programs and we will discuss this further at the next meeting.
Item 2: GL will be searching for a technical officer to oversee our website, teamspeak, and other technical issues. The holder of this station will be given some form of reward.
Item 3: We have discussed changing our name. The name with the most traction was “The Empyrean Empire.” Empyrean can mean heavenly, celestial, or the dwelling place of the good. Whatever name we want, we want a name that covers every possible member of our organization from a baker, to a merchant, to special forces soldiers, and a name that can apply on almost any game we play. We will revisit this issue next meeting. Feel free to make your thoughts known in this topic.
Item 4: We will have another meeting on December 7th, at 7pm PST. If someone other than me could take notes on the meeting that would be helpful as it’s hard to lead the discussion and take the notes at the same time. Please volunteer if you want this job.

I believe many guilds from other games use names such as this. While I have no objection personally, I just wish to point out that it may either
A) Lend confusion to folks who play multiple MMOs and automatically associate us.
B) Be a name that somebody else swipes from under our feet.
On the positive side, I feel that it does emphasize our alignment more strongly.
