It says Spark can light unattended Fine objects... but it seems odd that it couldn't light a torch, which is meant to be lit, though it isn't Fine. In fact, it seems odd that it could only (potentially) light torches or lanterns that are unattended. Could someone clarify? Thanks!
Classic case of a house rule playing the role of common sense.

You can't light a torch that is attended, but you could light an unattended one.
Branches are easy too. You don't target the torch or branch itself, as they are too large. Instead, target the fine-sized scraps of fabric on the end of a torch, or a leaf on the branch.
You can't target large curtains, but you can target a few fine threads within the curtain.
See where I'm going with this?
