So... how does one get more GM stars? Is it just a matter of running scenarios or is there more to it than that?

You can earn up to four stars for running (and reporting) a certain number of games, as follows.
• 10 sessions reported as GM = 1 star
• 30 sessions reported as GM = 2 stars
• 60 sessions reported as GM = 3 stars
• 100 sessions reported as GM = 4 stars
You are eligible to obtain a fifth star based on a number of criteria.

The remaining information can be found in the Guide to Organized Play p 30.

Or you can defeat a higher star GM and take their stars.

DISCLAIMER: This does not actually work.

Thanks! I knew there was something somewhere about it but I couldn't remember where I read it.

Or if you happen to buy me my favorite beer at a con, I may give you a meritorious field promotion.

I will be attempting this repeatedly at Kublacon.

Awesome...there is a chance I'll hit 4 stars by the time I'm 50.

Edit: What is your favorite beer again?

Please say 'Coors Light'. Please say 'Coors Light'.

Or I can just try Redhook and hope for the best...

If you're not careful with this, you may just end up with a couple hundred bottles of beer, and since there are some numerous hundreds of beers, there's a chance that not one of them is your favorite. xD

What sucks is that there isn't even a Flying Saucer in Indy, so I can't invite you and your wife for pizza and a pitcher for $20 on the Wednesday night before GenCon.

Only a couple of hundred? I've been to 46 states and 14 countries. I assure you there are more than a couple of hundred ;-) But, I do have a favorite, that is for sure.

I believe there was only one baseball team mentioned in your post. I see the city of Atlanta mentioned but nothing about the Braves. We can always discuss last season or prior division championships or the like if you wish. Feel free to email me. We will start with 14 straight division championships.

That's kinda sad. Are you sure Wes or James isn't stealing them all because they knew how good they were in advance? Kind of like Girl Scout cookies except rarer...

Not everybody believes that those little spots on the dice mean that's the number of characters you're going to kill. There again, perhaps that's why the maximum recommended table size is six - once you get above a d6 it's harder to tell just how many dots there are on a face with just a quick glance.

Why go to a chain when Indy is home to several craft breweries? You can get a growler and a large pizza from 3 Wise Men for $20.

The table is limited to six because my jar to collect the players' tears would overflow with a 7th player.

All microbrews, or do any of them also sell non-mass-market domestics (stuff not by AB or Miller) like brews from Left Hand out of Colorado? I love me a good milk stout.

Don't get me wrong: I grew up in Wisconsin, but that's where I learned to hate "American-Style" lagers.

Well I generally only drink stouts and I generally only drink stuff from Indiana like Upland, Sun King, Triton, 3 Floyds, etc... However, due to the general love of microbrews it's pretty easy to find other ones from the midwest including Left Hand. My fav bar http://www.chumleyspubs.com/BroadRipple_drafts.html appears to have Left Hand on draft. I'll be heading there tomorrow to get my 32oz schooner filled for $5.75 and it's going to be magical. I'll try that milk stout and see if I like it.

Wasn't even his fault... He just pointed out that the location of the information and the rules behind NDA prevent a VO from disclosing it if it's not on Paizo and posted by him or Mark. Prior to a day or so ago, once again not of his own doing, it wasn't under the NDA. You were screwed by fate itself. :P

Ahh, I see, so the information was posted in the VC forums, which makes that Post NDA...

But If the information was given outside those forums, say, when he was VC in Atlanta to the Current VCs in Atlanta, that would not be covered in NDA since it was not told in a NDA setting...

Kyle, so what we are still good as long as you got the information outside of the VC forums...

;)
