Hmm ... I handed Mike a beer at GM 101, and he handed me a PFS Service Award ... maybe it does work?

It only worked because the player controlling you rolled a natural 20.

I bet it's the one in his hand.

Here's a question - do the games you replay have to be *unique* scenarios? There are some that I'm really into running (Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment, Stranger Within) and I've re-run them 3 or 4 times. It *looks* like they're creating GM Star Credit (not regular/player credit) but I'm not sure.
I've been hammering away at the GM Star Credits since getting my first one; I was the first woman in my group to earn a GM star, and it's been very exciting, so much so that I don't care I'm not levelling up characters - we're creating & filling tables and getting games run, and that's the most important thing some days, especially when we're running heavy on recruitment.
Mike, you need to come down to Houston to see what great things we're doing with developing women's gaming membership - plus, we have a great brewery: Saint Arnold's - Ales, IPA's/Double IPA's, hefeweizen, and Kölsch. I'm not a drinker anymore, but they're very popular with local gamers.
We have OwlCon coming up again in February, we'd love to see you!!!

Yes, you can only have one replay chronicle for any given scenario. I had that problem with The Paths We Choose after using a replay to play it twice at Strategicon. Went to use a star for my second GMing of it and remembered the rule against it.

Rerunning does create star credits for each and every table you run, regardless of prior GM'ing of the scenario/module in question.

You can only get a maximum of 3 chronicles from a single scenario (Tier 1/level 1-2 mods not withstanding) to apply to characters. Those are 1 for playing the adventure, 1 for running the adventure, and 1 time by using a GM star for replay/rerun chronicle credit.

For the way this question is worded, TOZ's advice is correct. But in case you are asking if you only get GM STAR credit for running a scenario you have not run before, that is not the case. Every table you run applies to your total even if you have run a particular scenario before.

It's kind of nice that way because you still get a little something for the time spent running the table :)

Edit: Ninja'd!!!

Apologies for the necromancy, but the subject matter fit the thread and I couldn't find my answer anywhere.

I know that GM stars let you replay a scenario, but can you spend it on a scenario you've already ran? Namely, last year I've played Part 1 of Quest for Perfection, but then the GM was sick and I ended up running parts 2 and 3. This year, I'm being asked to run part 1-3 since I'm familiar with it. I'll get credit for part 1, but because I've ran 2 and 3 already, I shouldn't get credit. I'd like to spend 2 of my stars to get those chronicles if at all possible.

Yes, you can use the stars to get credit as a GM again if you wish, rather than a replay opportunity for those scenarios.

Wonderful. That's going to make life much easier. Much appreciated for the quick reply.
