Alternate Racial Traits
The following alternate racial traits may be selected in place of one or more of the standard racial traits above. Consult your GM before selecting any of these new options.
Dayborn: A few fortunate dhampirs were born during the day under the blessings of priests, and their blood has weaker ties to their undead bloodline than others of their kind. Such dhampirs are unhindered by daylight and lose the light sensitivity racial trait. This racial trait replaces the spell-like ability racial trait.

Goggles, Smoked
Source Advanced Players Guide
These spectacles have lenses made of smoked glass that help protect against creatures with gaze attacks. You are always treated as averting your gaze when dealing with gaze attacks, and you gain a +8 circumstance bonus on saving throws against visual-based attacks (any attack that a blind creature would be immune to). You have a –4 penalty on Perception checks while wearing the goggles, and all opponents are treated as having concealment (20% miss chance).

If the race is available, then the alternate racial traits are available.

That's not entirely true. Elves, half-elves, and humans have several alternate traits that are not allowed.
Also, if you want to find out if something is PFS legal, check the additional resources. The forums aren't a valid alternative to doing your homework; when a GM asks you "is that legal?", he likely won't approve when you say "someone on the forums said so."

I thought the same thing but after re-reading the description, I don't think (as its not stated) they have any influence on the light sensitivity.
If there is an item in the ARG, can someone poit out a page number?

You missed that key part right there. It should solve your problem vary easily. albeit at the cost of 12 k in PFS or 6k if you can make it yourself.
