The pretender's healing? Can't have that.

*stabstabstabstab*

Main Hand Attack, 2WF, Bless, Inspire, Flank: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Main Hand Damage, Inspire: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Main Hand Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11

Off Hand Attack, 2WF, Bless, Inspire, Flank: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Off Hand Damage, Inspire: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Off Hand Sneak Attack: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5

Sovereign Court

If that drops him I'll 5ft-step behind the pillar and use the cover to hide from (especially) Gonarav;

(conditional) Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (14) + 15 = 29

Fazgyn thrusts his sword into the mirrored doppleganger and manages to deal it a killing blow! Its body explodes into jagged glass shards that deals piercing and slashing damage: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 5) = 11 points of to creatures within a 20-foot-radius burst.

Reflex DC 12 for half
Fazgyn: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 saves and evades
Athrax: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 8 + 2 = 13 saves and takes 5
Engashez: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 saves and takes 5

round 4:
Engashez
Athrax
Gonarav
Vanarog
(end of round 4)
Skyrahk
Pethjun
Fazgyn

Sovereign Court

No map, but taking a 5ft step to where the mirror creature was standing.

Full defense.

@Alexander: sorry, but I'd already stepped there..

Sovereign Court

Can I please redcon my total defense action to move to the square (3* left, 3* down)? (= No total defense)

Monkhound wrote:

Sure, Full defence is a standard action, so you can do both

Sovereign Court

In the case where I move, I don't want Full Defense because I want to threaten.

Filthy fakeblood, you're alone now!

Grand Lodge

Mogmurch - Male goblin 1 hp 7/7 AC 14, touch 13, ff13 Fort +1, Ref +2, Will + 1Init +2; Perception +3

"Arthrax come over here! Stab again!"

No clue what the Alchemist can do, but throwing bombs against something with fire resistance that's being surrounded by us doesn't seem like the best idea..so stabbing at it (and taking away it's last mirror image?) seems like a good idea

Ghosting Athrax

Athrax moves in and attacks with his spear

To Hit: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 4 + 1 = 17

Pops an image

The fake sorcerer attacks Skyrahk

To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Miss
To Hit: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Hit

Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

Round 4:
Vanarog
Round 5:
Skyrahk
Pethjun
Fazgyn
Engashez
Athrax
Gonarav

Not sure if there are any mirror images left..if there is at least one left..shooting ray of frost now. If there's no image left - telling Pethjun to attack and then step away before shooting the ray to avoid cover

To hit touch AC Gonarav: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 + 1 - 4 = 8
Cold damage if hit: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

(bless, inspire if it's still up, firing into melee)

Not that it matters with that roll

Preg wrote:

[dice=To hit touch AC Gonarav]1d20+4+1+1-4
[dice=Cold damage if hit]1d3+1

AFAIK, inspire is gone and that is indeed a miss

Sovereign Court

I'm lurking behind this pillar eyeing Skyrakh, giving him "the look" to indicate I'd like to take his place to flank with Pethjun.

Sovereign Court

I was assuming Inspire would stay on until the moment I say I end it?

Monkhound wrote:

Maintaining is a free action, but still an action. I'll allow it to be still up this time, but next time, please say it in your post.

Pethjun just goes ham witha rapier prick and a tail spike.
rapier, flank, inspire: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17
damage rapier: 1d4 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
tail, flank, inspire: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
tailspike damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

** correctie voor inspire

Pethjunjustforthistime wrote:

With bless and inspire added those both hit and destroy the Soulsliver!

It explodes in glass shards damage: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6

reflex saves DC12 for half
Pethjun: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 saves, takes 3
Varanog: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 fails, takes 6
Engashez: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 saves, takes 3
Athrax: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 saves, takes 3
Skyrahk: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9, fails takes 6
and Fazgyn is out of the blast radius

Spellcraft DC22 (reminder):
The floating orb that hovers 2 feet off the ground in the northern edge of the chamber is a mirror gate. Touching the orb causes the mirror reflection of the current chamber to frost over, and over the course of a minute the reflection shifts into that of the matching mirror gate. Once this transformation is complete, a creature that touches the orb travels to the matching orb.

As the portal was activated 5 rounds ago, there's still 5 rounds untill it is active.

Is there anyone here who's capable of that check who hasn't tried it yet?

Noone has tried it yet, so to speed things up, I'll roll

Spellcraft
Skyrahk: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Athrax: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Varanog: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

"In 30 seconds the orb activates! We should all touch it and it will teleport us!"

Grand Lodge

Mogmurch - Male goblin 1 hp 7/7 AC 14, touch 13, ff13 Fort +1, Ref +2, Will + 1Init +2; Perception +3

"Let's heal before we do that!"

I might have missed something but it looks like:

Pethjun: 3
Varanog: 6
Engashez: 3 + 5 + 3 = 16
Athrax: 3 + 5 = 8
Skyrahk: 6 + 3 + 6 - 4 = 11

No clue what we have left in the party for healing..but since we only have 5 rounds even if Skyrahk's wand has enough charges we can't heal everyone. I have a potion of cure moderate wounds for Engashez but then I'd like a wand charge. So 1 wand charge for Vanarog, Pethjun, Athrax and Skyhahk? Then if there's a 5th charge left we can decide who needs it most?.

"Athrax come over here"

Vanarog pulls out a wand and recasts mage armor on the green scaled kobold.

Fazgyn pulls out a Cure Moderate potion as well and motions towards Engashez;

"I like your flanking style."

Meanwhile he positions himself to touch the orb along with the others.

i touch the orb, rapier at the ready

Sovereign Court

Engashez mutters We must be brave, otherwise we're not worthy of meeting the True Trueblood... Ouch... while pulling a shard of glass from her face and drinks the potion handed by Fazgyn.

Cure moderate wounds: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 7) + 3 = 18

"Orb, yes!"

Skyrahk's eyes dart left, right, then left again. She lets out a scream to try to distract fake blue kobold! Unfortunately she still provokes a attack of opportunity.

She dashes towards the orb, touching it with her 2nd action.

Skyrahk a.k.a. Maglok wrote:
"Orb, yes!"

There are only real kobolds left and 5 rounds before the orb activates. You can do 5 rounds of healing, prep, buff or whatever. We don't really need to do this in initiative though

When I posted there was most definately one left. :)

Alright I stick myself twice with the CLW wand for a total of 10 hp.

"Anyone else?"

Maglok wrote:

Timing is an issue, so no taking 5 on cures :-(

And there was most certainly no enemies left for at least 12 hours, so maybe a browser glitch on your side! :-) There was never a blue fake kobold to begin with!

Awww ok hold on

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Skyrahk a.k.a. Maglok wrote:

Anyone else you want to heal in the last 2 rounds?

Sovereign Court

Engashez assumes her Kobold Form again before the orb activates.
Boy, oh boy. So excited!

Also: She taps herself with a wand of Heroism.

buff me maybe? i can also use 1 tap of the wand.

Sovereign Court

Engashez taps Pathjun with the wand.

Careful now, it's almost broken.

Can kobolds make pouty me-too faces? Only one way to find out.

Grand Lodge

Mogmurch - Male goblin 1 hp 7/7 AC 14, touch 13, ff13 Fort +1, Ref +2, Will + 1Init +2; Perception +3

Vanarog pulls out a scroll and start to mentally count

"One, Two, Three, Many..Many one, many two, many three, lots..lots one..."

Timing mirror image to go off the round before we teleport

before dropping the spend scroll and placing his claw on the orb

Images: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Fazgyn holds on to the orb with one claw and his favourite sword with the other.

"Come on... take us to your leader already..."

As you all touch the orb it teleports you to the spire of the tower.

Crisp air swirls around the unguarded edges of the spire’s apex. Polished mirrored marble covers the circular floor, spreading out in a forty-foot radius. A pile of gleaming copper coins with a dragon-shaped indent rests on the northern end of the platform. Beyond the edges of the platform, the dim lights of the city below are visible, accented by multi-colored glyphs adorning the sides of what appear to be massive termite hives in the distance. A floating mirror-like sphere rests in the southern edge of the platform, while a larger sphere floats in the center. The central sphere lacks the mirror-consistency of the gate and instead swallows the already dim light of the region like a black hole.

Near the pile of coins is a small dragon. Clutching a black scale in one claw, it is moves warily around the perimeter of the platform. It looks at you with a bit of surprise.

Skyrahk looks around, impressed.

"Oh this is real nice, we need a lair like this at home. Very nice."

Then she notices the dragon and utters a audible 'gulp'.

"Uhm, hellos."

She waves awkwardly.

Fazgyn's beady little eyes dart this way and that way as he surveys the tower, checking for slow fangs that might go off if he steps on them.

Perception, Trapfinding: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24

Hoping to buy the rest of the party some time to gather their wits, come up with an actual plan, and maybe even heal, he starts walking a bit to the side, and talking to the dragon with an amazed look on his face.

"A True Trueblood! Awesome! Err, I mean, we didn't accidentally stumble into your lair, did we?"

If possible I'll quickly stick the wand of CLW in Pethjun while the 'dragon' is distracted, if not ignore this. CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Skyrahk a.k.a. Maglok wrote:

You had two rounds (of healing?) left before the orb activated. I'll allow you to (still) use those. If you want to do anything now, I'll require your stealth against the dragon's perception ;-)

If necessary I'll hazard my Bluff to distract the dragon from the casters. I should know them well enough to know by their fidgeting if they want me to, or if they'd prefer I shut up so they can try to talk the True Trueblood into compliance with the koboltariat.

Assume I wand Pethjun twice then. This is the second roll: CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Sovereign Court

Very quickly, barely leaving a space between words, Engashez utters:
I am honored to meet a real True Trueblood at last! Who are you by the way, and how can we help you?

What are we looking at?
Kn. Arcana, Heroism: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25

Monkhound wrote:

It's an Umbral Wyrmling.

Sense Motive DC15:
Shadrixis seems astonished that you don’t all immediately bow in adoration to him.

Monkhound wrote:

"You don't know who I am? Have you not heard of the mighty Shadrixis?!"
