What are some good examples of dirty tricks that could be done for the conditions listed in the Combat Maneuver? Not always good at thinking those things up on the fly.

Conditions are :blinded, dazzled, deafened, entangled, shaken, or sickened.

Sickened:
--Belch/fart in the enemy's face.
--Keep a sealed bag of rotting, liquified fruit. Throw at enemy so it bursts, preferably in nasal range.

Deafened:
--Box ears
--If you have a familiar/animal companion that can do so, have familiar screech very loudly in enemy's ear
--Whip. Crack it next to enemy's ears. You can also do this by doubling a strap of leather (such as a belt) and snapping it.

Entangled:
--Pull out rope. Catch rope on enemy's weapon. Run several very fast circles around enemy while holding onto other end of rope.
--Two words: Zorro Whip.

Blinded
-Three Stooges eye poke
-sand in the eyes
-pull his helm down over his eyes

Entangled
-pull an equipment strap down over an arm
-pull his shirt over his head, hockey fight style
-step on his toe and shove

Sickened
-two words: "nut shot" (or alternatively: "peach pickin")

Deafened
-box the ears
-shout in their ear
-wet willie

Shaken
-suddenly shout in their face
-jump up and down and scream "booga-booga"
-give 'em the ol' stankeye

Dazzled
-reflect the light off your blade into their eyes
-unleash your incomparable fashion sense??

Deafened: Slam your weapon off a wall next to them, hit em upside the helmet if the helmet is metal, box the ears

Blinded: Spit in their eyes, dirt/sand throw or kick

Sickened: anything gross tossed on them, boot to the stomach, low blow

Shaken: superficially hurt yourself in an intimidating fashion, lick their blood off your weapon if you've already hurt them, tap them on a vital area with your weapon just to show you can

Dazzled: Reflect light, torch to the face

Entangled: cut the belt (or really any strap that would cause some entangling), toss rope at their feet, toss a blanket at them, loooove TwoWolves' hockey shirt trick, and if they're wearing a cloak or cape of their own you can do whatever you want with that

I once poked a giant with my sword in the eyes(blindness occurred). Hope this helps.

Ways to use Dirty Trick:

Sickened:
-Belch/fart in the enemy's face.
-Keep a sealed bag of rotting, liquefied fruit (or anything else very smelly). Throw said smelly item in enemy’s face trying to bust the bag.
-Two words: "nut shot" (or alternatively: "peach pickin").
-

Deafened:
-Shout in enemy’s ear.
-Box ears.
-If you have a familiar/animal companion that can do so, have familiar screech very loudly in enemy's ear.
-Whip. Crack it next to enemy's ears. You can also do this by doubling a strap of leather (such as a belt) and snapping it.
-Wet Willie.
-Slam your weapon off a wall next to enemy.
-If enemy’s helmet is metal, hit enemy on side of head.

Entangled:
-Pull out rope. Catch rope on enemy's weapon. Run several very fast circles around enemy while holding onto other end of rope.
-Two words: Zorro Whip.
-Pull an equipment strap down over an arm.
-Pull his shirt over his head, hockey fight style.
-Step on enemy’s toe and shove.
-Cut belt so enemy’s pants fall down
-Toss rope at enemy’s feet.
-Toss blanket/sheet (billowy is best) over enemy.
-Grab enemy’s cloak. Wrap enemy in said cloak.

Blinded:
-Three Stooges eye poke.
-Sand in the eyes.
-Spit in enemy’s eyes.
-Pull enemy’s helm/hat down over eyes.
-For larger enemy, poke enemy eye with weapon.

Shaken:
-Suddenly shout in their face
-Jump up and down and scream "booga-booga"
-Give 'em the ol' stank-eye.
-Superficially hurt self in an intimidating fashion.
-Lick enemy blood off your weapon if you've already hurt enemy.
-Tap enemy on a vital area with your weapon just to show you can.

Dazzled
-reflect the light off your blade into their eyes
-unleash your incomparable fashion sense??
-Reflect light/torch in enemy’s face, preferably when in darkness.

good stuff!!! Thanks!!!

This should be an entertaining character. Playing a Fighter (Cad archetype) All feats will be related to Dirty Trick, Steal, Disarm and Feint. 7th level will be nice with Greater Dirty Trick, Deadly Surprise and Improved Feint. Feint(move) to deny dex, melee strike (standard) which triggers Dirty Trick (Immediate Action).

I plan to use steal to steal tactical things like Holy Symbols and Component Pouches

Necro, but was trying to think about this especially with Shaken.

The above examples of Dirty Tricks to produce the shaken condition sound more like Intimidate checks to me. And as I'm looking at the possibility of a fear stacking Bard, I'm already counting on Intimidate.

Guess if I had to produce examples myself, rather than direct confrontation as suggested above, what dirty tricks could you use to scare people?

- Get in a position where they don't notice you, or wait for them to pay attention to another party member, then do something to produce a loud perhaps threatening sound from a direction they least expect, and you could produce a shaken effect for a round or two...

But this first example leads to the question, we're using CMB here, right? So Strength has to be a factor in the Dirty Trick, because you're getting a bonus or penalty for it. But my above example would clearly be more Dexterity and Charisma based, with no Strength needed...

At the end of the day, I started thinking about this mainly to see if I could argue that I could use a weapon as part of the Dirty Trick to cause Shaken, specifically a longspear with 10' reach so I don't provoke when I perform the Combat Maneuver.

But then, I only want to do that because I'm thinking combat maneuvers need to be melee or within reach, but why couldn't a Dirty Trick to cause Shaken be performed simply within line of sight/hearing for the target? If I could just stand out of AoO range of my target and make the Dirty Trick roll, I don't care about the longspear part.

Any other examples of Dirty Trick to cause Shaken?

A thought concerning Shaken: since Dirty Trick maneuvers can be "cured" by applying a Move Action to negate the effects. Most of the above examples don't have some sort of logical way of negating them - and thus seem more like the use of intimidate.

I'm thinking it might be better to physically hurl something off-putting, like a vial of creepy-crawlies; or, if you have a torch in hand, a flask of lamp oil. The attack doesn't really do anything, but the knowledge that this COULD harm the target gives them Shaken, while still allows them a way to remove the penalty (by sweeping off the substance)

Similarly, if you were fighting a Fey opponent, a bag of iron filings could work to make them shaken.

For blinded, one guy I played with took Dirty Trick specifically to apply that one while playing a dual-kukri build, based on real kukri users having a channel in the blade to catch blood, which they would then flick into their opponent's eyes. That's pretty awesome, IMO.

Conditions are :blinded, dazzled, deafened, entangled, shaken, or sickened.

Blinded: Pulling down hood, jarring helmet out of place, Moe Howard eye poke, slashing above the eyebrows so blood gets in their eyes, handful of sand or dust, pull cloak over head.

Dazzled: No idea why you'd go for dazzled instead of blinded, but most of those still work.

Deafened: Boxing the ears

Entangled: Pants them. :)

So much more than "I trip the guy", Dirty Trick is my favorite maneuver.
