Construct Limb
Requirements: Craft Construct, Craft Magic Arms and Armor, animate objects, Small or Tiny construct
CR increase: none
Cost: 27,000 gp
This modification can be performed on a Small or Tiny construct, such as an iron cobra or a homunculus. The creator modifies the construct such that she can slip it over her arm and control its actions as part of her own. The construct limb retains any melee attacks that the construct has, and the creator can use special attacks as if she were the construct (using the construct’s attack statistics and effects), but treat the creator as the creature making attacks for the purpose of determining attacks of opportunity and other actions that could be triggered by an attack made by the creator.
The limb also provides the wearer with limited protection in combat, roughly equivalent to that of a heavy steel shield. The wearer is considered proficient in this shield. The wearer retains the remainder of her abilities.
A construct limb counts as a heavy steel shield for purposes of determining AC, weight, Dexterity modifiers to AC, and chance of arcane spell failure.

What if that arm was salvaged from under the sea? There are ruins chalk full of ancient stuff I bet. The campaign setting has tons of ancient ruins and near forgotten civilizations after all. It really is a great picture and could spawn all sorts of side adventures for the GM. Don't expect any content from Paizo regarding it though, I was talking to James Jacobs about it tonight in chat and he seemed pretty upset about it. It's content that they didn't anticipate.

She lost her real arm in a mundane swordfight recently, but one day, a strange, ghostly female pirate with a weird magical-mechanical arm appeared on her ship and immediately attacked her. They fought. During the fight, the mysterious ghostly pirate grabbed her magical sword. She then drew a spare blade, and managed to cut the mechanical arm from the mysterious visitor, who then vanished. She then decided to use the arm herself.
Years later, she realized that she needed to use that very magical sword stolen by that mysterious attacker all those years ago, so she used a time-travel device to appear on her ship on the last day she owned it. A fight ensued with her former self, in which she gained the sword, but lost the arm...
Oh, wait, that was Bennedict from Nine Princes in Amber...
