Hi guys i am one of the 2 DM´s in our Kingmaker Campaign and i am searching for some new fresh ideas to pimp our Adventurepath!
We want to extend the story from the kingmaker campaign with 4 witches.
They are all sisters and shell be our main endbosses in the following adventures everyone of her wants to rule the river kingdoms with her own evil plan. But here comes the problem we dont have many cool ideas what plans that could be and thats where we need your help.
Only things we thought about are the following things:
- When one witch dies the other ones are getting stronger
(cause of her soul transfering to the ones left over)
- The Mother of Blood (evil werewolf witch) wants to raise an army of werewolfs which shell conquer the river kingdoms (we already brought her in and our Inquisitor is now changed by her evil magic into a werewolf)
SO PLEASE PLEASE HELP US WITH YOUR MOST DIABOLIC PLANS
you can think of or if u have any other awesome ideas for the history of our group/adventure.
Big thanks to all of u

First of all, great idea of the witches! Second, you should make their evil plan with a backstory of something like this(be free to change this when you use it):Witches in your games like werewolves and vampires used to roam free before the towns were created(the old days). Then when people started settling they both fought back against each other. The evil ones(witches, werewolves and vampires) retreated for almost (any number) of years. Now they're coming back for some revenge. Your team can't just know this on the dot. Put them in some ancient temple(or any other place) and give them a book that one might be able to read(a good read magic spell is easy for some classes). Good luck and as I said change this as much as you'd like.

This is a bit different from what you have in mind, but it sprung to mind when I read the post so feel free to cannibalize what you want of it.
Immune to the powers of natures grinding years four ancient stone towers stand as tributes to nations long dead. Long buried by the slow processes of nature they are legends long lost. The towers are each an important object to one of the tribes of the forest, aspects of legend and terror as all foolish enough to enter them perish. Unbenowest to wider world a coven devoted to Lamashtu, mother of monsters work unholy rites beneath the earth of these structures. Granted lives long enough to complete the centuries long rites they seek to pervert the towers ancient purpose and release what was held, A magical plague capable of converting entire nations into warped beasts and grotesque horrors incapable of being cured and delivered with a touch the only answer is destruction by fire.
With the release of Lamashtu's ancient plague the leader of the horde would only need to direct them, none would be able to hold meaningful resistance to such a storm of madness.
In game terms a Template that grants a regeneration effect and forces utter devotion to the mother of monsters, good old zombie plague scenario with werewolves and such leading the charge.
And then there is the heroic party that stumbles across this due to the foolishness of one of the four witches. Guess those heros better get to work or the nation is going to get eaten by insane were-peasants.
With only one end game in play it means you have an excuse to make have the witches directing the party at each other. It would fit the theme of Lamashtu and her portfolio of Monsters and Beasts to have the strongest of the four lead after releasing the plague, whoever happens to have devoured the other three getting the powers of them Highlander style.
Bluffing the party into thinking these black hearted crones are simply misunderstood do-gooders and then directing them at one of the other four could make for some very interesting fun. Make sure each of the four witches manages to get their hooks into someone in the party and it becomes a much more desperate struggle.
Transformation magics and alignment hiding spells (along with glibness or other bluff enhancing spells) would make for some very interesting encounters with these four. It would be increasingly hard to pull it off so you might end up with physical or mental threats working better (greater curse to lose 1 point of wisdom per week until driven to madness and turned into a madbeast of Lamashtu, Magical Mummy rot, excetera) Lots of potential fun though it would also mean that party would have a distinct chance of dying from powerful big bad evil team-up if they demonstrate a capacity to murder or see through the ploys of the other witches.
Hope that helps.

Just a few suggestions that sprung to mind.
How about a fat witch that wants to cook and eat rare delicacies, like the heart of a king marinated in the blood of his first born. You could even have this part of the campaign become a mystery, children are disappearing, or one of the Kingdom's Leaders has vanished under mysterious circumstances. As for the Fat Witch herself you could give her some levels in the Bloatmage prestige class.
Or how about a terribly ugly witch or hag that wants to marry one of the PCs and to do this she is killing off the most beautiful women in the land to make a wedding dress from their skin. Just imagine a swamp set up to look like some kind of macabre wedding with dead flowers and the remains of her victims on the groom's side and inhabitants of the swamp on the bride's (Hehe I just got a mental image of a Shambling Mound in a tux and top hat). And you could make her so ugly/hideous and also smelly that you could give her the Stench ability. Oh and the fat witch could make the wedding cake out of babies!!
Maybe one who has a champion that she is helping and manipulating to conquer the territories while her sisters help sabotage the PCs kingdom. Make the champion an Antipaladin or Cavalier or whatever you want really, just high level and evil basically. Maybe throw in some special powers that his witch benefactor has bestowed upon him, like regeneration (that could let him keep coming back after the PCs think they've killed him) or he can turn into some kind of monstrous form, play around with templates or give him an alchemist mutagen or something.
That's all I can think of right now, hope it helps.
