Talking fist...part 2!

Advice

Some of you may have seen my other thread about a talking fist, which i don't think i learned anything from.

But, i found a feat on the PFSRD called Tiger Style that makes unarmed strikes do slashing damage. with levels in monk unarmed strike counts as a manufactured weapon.

I am thinking of taking a level in bladebound magus with tiger style, and pick my unarmed strike as a black blade.

i want to know if this will work, why or why not, and how i can use this new class to my advantage.

An unarmed strike is a light weapon, not a one-handed weapon. It cannot be a blackblade.

Well, an unarmed strike is light... but it also qualifies as one-handed, as you can strike with a single hand by RAW.

So... maybe?

No, the classification of weapons are: Light, One-handed, Two-handed, and Ranged. The unarmed strike is light, not one-handed.

But light is always 1 handed. You can't Two-hand a Light weapon, you CAN Two-hand a One-handed weapon, and you can One-hand a Two-hander, with a penalty. Therefore, light is always 1 handed.

Grand Lodge

It is still a distinct classification. You cannot use a two-handed weapon one-handed and say it is your Blackblade.

This seems to have become a rules discussion. I will start a thread in the rules forum.

So, you want your hand to have a seperate intelligence from the rest of your body? And make it enchanted (based on the black blade)...

Thats just...wow...

1) Unarmed strike is a light weapon
2) Counts as manufactured is not the same as actually being manufactured (unless of course you have a hook hand) (which is still light and wouldn't apply to the blackblade)
