We have two Venture-Lieutenants who have done a fantastic job under their respective Venture-Captains. I think it is time to reward those efforts. So, I am promoting Clint Blome to Venture-Captain (Nebraska) and Will Wadhams as Venture-Captain (Connecticut). Congratulations!
Oooo...I'm rooming with a VC now, instead of a "lowly" VL at Gencon. *tongue in cheek*

Well, this came completely out of left field for me.

Grats Clint, your great work helped make Nuke-Con a real blast for me, and your personal attention made me feel welcome despite being so far away from home.

Clint posted a link t this announcement on our local group's message forum.
He titled it: "Screw up" and opened with "Somebody made a HUGE mistake!"
While it is more fun to agree with him on this point, as somebody who gets to spend a great deal of time working with Clint on event support in and around Omaha, let me assure you that he's been performing at this level for quite a while already. Heck, he's got two SOLID assistants that help him at the vast majority of events!
This promotion was well deserved, at least for Clint. I don't know Will, but I assume he's done as well in his own backyard. <g>
Congrats to both Clint and Will.
I hope to play with you both at some future time.

Will knows his stuff very well and has a very enthusiastic way of running games!! I wish him the best!! Will if you are reading this thanks for running those games that got my characters up to speed.

Who would want to be a VC? As a VL you get all the perks, and all the complaints/whining?...point them to the VC :)
