Grammaton Cleric

Advice

Liberty's Edge

I am trying to make a Grammaton Cleric from the movie ,Equilibrium, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to build that as a playable character in the pathfinder society.

My thought was using a Gunslinger, pistolero, and than taking some monk or ninja levels. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Ah, I was hoping this was a full class build. Unfortunately I have nothing on doing this for PFS, but I wish you luck in your endeavor.

Do you want to dual wield pistols and also melee with them, or are you fine going in 1 pistol+unarmed/other weapon?

The second one is pretty easy, Savage Technologist brings the complete package. The first one is a bit trickier.

I want to dual wield pistols and also melee with them. I am trying to get as close to the movie as possible. The problems i see as well are how am i going to do ranged flurry, and multiple shots with a duel pistols in a full round action.

for anyone saddened that this was about PFS and want's a 3p thing

linky

Well, to do that you need an extra appendage (alchemist, white haired witch, tiefling etc.), or the gun twirling feat so you can reload while dual wielding.

Savage technologist can still help if you don't mind using pistol daggers (probably grab 3 levels of UC rogue as well to have dex to damage with the dagger part as well).

5 levels of Gunslinger with a dip into UCMonk could work out (rest of the levels in some class that helps with the TWF stuff; probably ranger, slayer, or some version of fighter) otherwise.

*sigh* Well, I was using Kata Master Monk in my build, but that was before they took opportune parry and riposte out of Kata master.

But monk still gives you the high touch AC and lets you get deflect arrows, so it's still worth it.

For PFS, I would go with a Unchained Rogue 4/Savage Technologist Barbarian x, using double dagger pistols. U Rogue gives you Dex to Damage with the Dagger pistols in melee and debilitating injury, while Savage Technologist gives you free TWF, Dex to damage ranged. Your touch AC isn't great, but you can use debilitating injury to reduce the foes accuracy.

Liberty's Edge

Savage technologist: 1 lvl for the rage affect
Gunslinger: 11 lvls for sure
Pistolero archtype
Monk: 7 lvls
Gunmetal Mystic Archtype
Fighter: 2 lvls for the feats

this was a possible lvl layout that i was thinking and using regualr pistols mixed with the martial arts skills.

You realize that PFS only has 11 levels to play with for the most part? Also Gunmetal Mystic is 3pp, and thus not PFS legal.

Really it'd take a fun build for this, probably going Pistolero 5/monk X, although you're going to need an archetype for monk, maybe zen archer or far thrower. Sad thing is you're probably going to need gun twirling, since it doesn't require a 3/4th bab dip.

i did not know that, thank you very much for that clarification.

Two levels of juggler bard lets you dual-wield pistols. It may not be quite the image you're going for, but it does work.
