Our party consists of a Fighter, Wizard, Cleric and Druid. The class I am having difficulties with: my beloved druid. He chose the following built:
1 Level Monk
6 Levels Druid
The cross classing checks out and has been built properly into his story. His tactic: He buffs up (Bull Strength, Haste, Mage Armor -> from Wizard, Magic Fang, Owl's Wisdom), then changes into a Dire Ape and here begins the issues I am having with this guy:
He is up to AC 26 (depending on other buffs even higher), has an attack bonus of +12 on EACH attack, 10 foot reach and makes minimal damage of 37 (rolling only 1 on each die) and maximal damage of 55 - without any crits (4 attacks -> 3 attacks 1d6 +8 on one 1d4 +9). So far everything checks out.
However, if i take a look at the Dire Ape in the Bestiary, it has only +6 on each attack with a Base Attack of +3 / Str Modifier of +4, while it should have +7. My Druid gets +12 with this Shape on each attack (he takes his strength and BAB)...
I am seriously having trouble, cause he rocks away encounters on his own, he is insanely difficult to hit, makes an incredible amount of damage and has a stunning versatility. Does everything checks out with the Natural Attacks? Have you guys house ruled anything?
Of course there are still the possibilities a DM has -> once he gets more famous and known for his tactics in the world, he will be target number 1. However, I suspect that this will only encourage him to power game even more...
Thank you for your help

Bull Strength, Magic Fang, Owl's Wisdom all last one minute/level, haste lasts 1 turn/level.
If they're spending time in-combat casting these, that's a lot of actions they're not spending disabling the enemy. If they are buffing RIGHT BEFORE a fight and the enemy isn't, well, that's how you win at D&D.

First a couple of minor things which won't affect much:
a) he should get -1 to hit & AC from large size.
b) Magic Fang must be cast on the bite & both claws separately (well actually I think he is using Greater Magic Fang in which case it checks out)
c) There is something else wrong in the damage he does. It should be someting like d6+8, 3xd4+8 & d4+10 or d6+7,3xd4+7 & d4+9
Anyway those minor things aside. I don't see the druid soloing as the wizard boosts him & probably the cleric heals, if things get seruous. So the problem here is the fighter. What are his stats / tactics? The numbers for the druid you have presented should easily be equalled / surpassed by the fighter of 7th level. He also probably benefits far more from the haste.
