Pffffffff . . .
drink less . . .
. . . you will get more done :)
I gave one of my players a list with information on it.
He passed it on to another player because the other player's character was more suited to managing the conversation.
As they are talking, I ask exactly how the information was shared... as in, was all of the information ont he list was shared...
The PC says, "Nah, I edited out the stuff that wasn't important."
I say "Carry on..."

I've told this a few times. Back in High School, I had a GF who I was happy to find out, was also a D&D player. Full of eagerness, I attended the first game we were invited to as a couple, where I was to game with all of her friends.
I ended up in a smoke-filled kitchen with about twelve drunk and/or stoned teenagers, all shouting through mouthfuls of munchies, at an overburdened and rather self-centered DM who seemed to only want to play with two of the attendees (neither of which was me), to "finish up" their "epic encounter" from the last session (some full year previous), featuring the level 20, 32 Strength Stormbringer-bearing barbarian of one of the players, some kind of ninja belonging to the other, and the uber DMPC of the DM, versus what kind of creature I do not know (the room was too loud and chaotic), which went on for an hour before everyone else got bored enough to leave for various parties at other locales.
The second time I played with weed and booze in the room was with mostly the same people, and - shock of all shocks! - it went exactly the same way.
These account for two of the top four most miserable gaming experiences of my entire 30-some-year gaming career.
In all the time since there has been no beer, nor any other spirits at my games, making them fun and enjoyable. Being that, with them at the game, NOTHING EVER GOT DONE.

Correlation does not make causation.
I've had dry games that sucked and drunken games that rocked.
I (apparently) DM much better when my wine intake is in the range [1,2) glasses.
