Is there a year / date for Carrion Crown?

Carrion Crown

See above. Or a timeline I can look at. Maybe compared to the other APs? Another group is running Crimson Throne and I'm wondering how these events are supposed to line up.

There isn't one, thus you're not forced to run them in any particular order.

Is there a timeline for other events so I can at least get an idea of where to place it? I haven't the foggiest idea when the CT AP is supposed to be. Perhaps my DM just made it up...

Look at the publication years of the books in question. The APs are written without dates so they can be ran in any order, but the campaign setting timeline runs parallel to our own.

For example: The Inner Sea World Guide, published in 2011, indicates the current year in Golarion is 4711. (This was advanced from the then-current year in the 3.5e Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting book that was published a couple years earlier.)

Add 2700 years to the publication year of any book to find out the year in which it was initially set.

But, as was said above already, the APs don't have dates in them so they don't have to be played in a particular order. Also, the campaign setting is kept vague about events in the APs so the campaign will usually refer to events as they were in a region pre-AP, so as not to assume AP events occurred a certain way.

For example, My group started CC in 4717 or so, because that's when they finished their KM campaign (which started in 4710 when it was released). I wanted the events that had already occurred to also be in CC, should they ever go over to the River Kingdoms.

Looks like Crimson Throne is in 4708 based on:

....and a few other events on the wiki that I probably shouldn't have seen >_<

I use 4711 , however I start in October and let it run over the winter... [evil laughter]more short dark days [/evil laughter]

Good idea to run it over the winter. Wish I'd thought of that...

What about a rough timeline within the AP? Haunting of Harrowstone takes

not really a spoiler:
a month
according to the stipulations of the will.
Trial of the Beast takes
also not much of a spoiler:
about 4 or so days
, depending on how Part 3 goes. Do the other books have time spans set into the order of events? (I haven't had a chance to pick them up yet. I won't be starting my group on this until near April.)
I also like the idea of running it over the fall or winter. I'll probably start it in Lamashan/Neth (October/November).

I'm not sure of the overall timeline, but I'd love to hear from other folks on that as well.

How tacky would it be if I told my PCs I wanted to revise the campaign starting date? It wouldn't actually change anything that has happened so far, but I have been explicit that the campaign started in the spring...

I just started BM. They started on the 6th of Rova 4711 in Ravengro and now are 15th of Lamashan 4711.
As for timeline...I calculated that they should be able to finish up until end of 4711.

Timeline:

1 month in Ravengro
3-5 days Ravengro->Lepidstadt
4 days in Trial
2-3 days in the Schloss
1-2 days rest, pack, buy in Lepidstadt
2-3 days Lepidstadt->Acanor Loadge
2-4 days in the lodge
2 days Stairs of the Moon
4-6 days Acor -> Feldengrau
1-2 days in Feldengrau
[Estimate]
3-4 Days Feldengrau->Thrushmoor
1-2 days Thrushmoor->Illmarsh
5-8 dyas in/around and under Illmarsch
1-4 days Illmarsch -> Caliphas
6-8 days in Caliphas
1-2 days Caliphas -> Hungry Montains
...and then I actuaclly have to go and full read the last module :)
[/estimate]

Paizo have taken the policy that the APs should be relatively time flexible. This means that ordering isn't that important. They also tend not to step on each others toes where possible, with the exception of the Varisia stuff, and that is only delicately touching before Shattered Star.

You'll notice that the definate dates tend to stop a few decades before the publication linked date explained above, whilst more recent events are the likes of 'five years ago' or similar.

It's a very short AP, compared to others. As you said, first two chapter won't take longer than month and a half and for the rest of the AP, PCs are constantly on the tail of WW and it doesn't make sense for them to make long periods of rest.
