Help! I just recently bought a Pathfinder Beginner Box and am very excited to begin playing. Problem: I am deployed for the next few months and nobody around here wants to learn to play (I asked). So when I found the PbP section on this website I became really excited again. So my questions are as fallows. Are there campaigns that are better designed for new players? Is anyone planning on beginning one, or can I jump in on one? Thanks to all who respond.

Usually the easier way to enter PbP game is to post a request in the recruitment thread,Online Campaign forum.Or to check there often and wait for a GM to open a PbP campaign (in the hope of being taken but that is to be discussed with the particular GM).

Usually a GM posts his recruitment like this:
His GMing style,his posting rate per day,his ideas for the campaign and concluding with the rules for character creation.
In this case just follow such rules.
When i posted my first request to join a PbP i included my time zone and usual rate of posting,but details are up to you.
Just remember that sadly a PbP can end abruptly if the GM or some of the players stop posting without a warning for any reson ,it already happened more than once to me :(
