Is it possible to retire a character early and make a new one at the same level? I really dont like my first character, as she is a one trick pony, and would rather do something else with that slot. If there is any rules for that could someone please tell me or point me to where I can maybe look? I have looked everywhere I can think of but haven't found anything. Thank you for any help in this matter.

It's pretty much up to your GM. There are no hard rules for it. Have you talked to them?

*edit* As an aside, I don't play PFS and if that's is what you're talking about I have no idea :)

Um... You ask your DM?

well its a society thing. I want to be sure that if I go to a con or anything that its on the up and up.

Unfortunately, Society rules don't allow for replacement of a character in this fashion. Your best bet is to start a new character and GM lot of games to bring them up to level using GM credit.

dang... allright. thanks. :(

There's nothing stopping you from retiring a character. You can always start a new one..... at first level. I am assuming that you're asking about Society play.

No, you can not retire a character and make another of the same level unless it is 1. For instance, if you retire a 6th level character because you no longer like it, you can not create a new 6th level character and start playing at 6th level.

It's not even technically retirement. It's just not playing that character. Retirement is when a PFS character has completed Eyes of the Ten scenarios and advanced to level 12.

I'm glad you asked the question though. I don't play PFS and was glad to know a bit more about it. So thanks R!
