DMC's Dante -- Race and Possibly Class?

I don't know if anyone's attempted this (short of epic outsider race which I think is ridiculous), but how would you build Dante? He's supposed to be half-demon, but show me one half-fiend template that allows a devil trigger, or fast healing/regeneration.

Classes would probably be rogue/gunslinger.

Silver Crusade

It's like trying to build Bayonetta.
Just write "you litteraly win by falcon punching God" on the sheet.

I don't know. I mean, I know Cerberus is like CR 22, and Dante takes him on in only the first couple of levels, but still.

Tiefling gunslinger/sorcerer (Infernal)

How do you figure sorcerer? Especially of the red-skinned tiefling variety?

Gestalt gunslinger/synthesist?

Where's synthesist from?

Ultimate Magic. His devil form could be done using that.

Took me a second to find it. Thought it was an actual class, not the summoner archetype.

Have to do something about those Summon Monster's though. Switch them with something else.

What race?

You do know that Tieflings aren't all red skinned right? They can look just like humans with a few "changes". Look at Radovan from the Pathfinder Tales.

Grand Lodge

Fair enough, I suppose. Still wondering about sorcerer though. All boosting spells?

Lantern Lodge

That was probably the idea. Spells that grant buffs, fast healing, magic ammo, etc. It wouldn't be to far fetched since a lot of video game characters have access to some kind of "magic".

I've made him (sorta) as a tiefling barbarian. Use the different fiendish rage abilities. It wasn't perfect but it was close enough for me. Rage being his devil trigger.

Monk with gunslinging and weapon badassery skills. And ring of regeneration.

Ruemere

Probably the best way of emulating the Devil Trigger. You can really fine-tune the details too.

Also, put a few skill points in Perform(dance).

To be honest, there's more than a few monsters from DMC I'd love to see PFized now.

Silver Crusade

Also, Demon-bloodline Tiefling. The bonus to CHA certainly plays into the focus on style.

Agreed. The only problem for the synthesist is the Summon Monster ability.

Just because the closest archetype has an ability that doesn't fit with your concept of a character doesn't mean you have to use it

something like the homebrew shifters ability to get a little buff for x ammount of time. This could work well for the devil transformation thematicaly.
