Okay, here's a fun one...maybe.
I was browsing the general merchant in Absalom where it's legal to buy Pseudodragons as pets and I thought, hey, why not buy one and have it sit in my backpack? At first I was just adding it for role play flavor since it has high intelligence, but then I saw that it has telepathy...and well to make a long story short...
How do I get the Pseudodragon to stealth up to an opponent and poison it with it's stinger to get a chance to make it fall asleep?
Their stats:
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/dragons/pseudodragon
I am a summoner with Handle Animal as a class skill. I speak Draconic, and the Pseudodragon has telepathy so we can communicate over 60 ft. from each other. I thought about teaching it tricks, but those are more for animals with INT of 1 or 2...Pseudodragon's have 10 INT.
Would I be better subjected to a Handle Animal check or a Diplomacy check? Or would one even be necessary?
...Also, I'm thinking of buying a second one and having a sort of "Angle/Devil" shoulder dialogue going on. Can they be bought without regard to "where" your character is? Or would I have to have been in Absalom in my current module?
Omg, I'm so sorry I have so many questions... m(_ _)m
Lastly, are there any known methods for altering or "searching for" a unique buy-able animal...like maybe a Pseudodragon that has a different type of poisoning affect in its stinger? (for example) Or that has a swim speed instead of fly speed?
THANK YOU!!!

This is all stuff that is extremely dependent on your GM. Anything we say here is honestly irrelevant if your GM says differently.
That said, if it were me running the game, I'd say Diplomacy being that Pseudodragons are roughly as intelligent as an average Human. However, being that they are sentient, I would be the one in charge of its personality. I suppose you could search for one with a negative disposition, but it likely won't always react like you'd expect.
Dealing with sentient creatures is always a gamble.

Which means you just commited an act of slavery.
Kinda yeah...
The Pseudodragon entry in the besiary specifically says-
"...they do not enjoy being treated as pets and prefer being treated as friends."
Now, if you intended to free the pseudo and make friends with it, you probably should've gone through with that immediately on buying it, not on the first time your try to use it as an attack dog. If you really want it, I'd suggest the Improved Familiar feat. Although really you're a summoner- why are you wasting time with pets when you have summons and eidolons who are all completely loyal to you and obey your commands without a check?

He said why in the first post.
Roleplaying reasons.

I'm NG as far as alignment.
And I'm a girl, just to clarify.
When I bought it, it was because I felt sorry for it and wanted to take care of it instead of letting it get caught again if I let it go. Of course, anyone can say it's just an excuse to not call it slavery. But I really don't care if it's that big of an issue. If you can buy human slaves to follow you around and click coconuts...you can buy a tiny dragon and feed it canaries and not call it inhumane.
heh heh...well, not inhumane for the dragon anyway.

hmm...that makes me wonder. I think I'll suggest it to my GM's that the nature of the check I'm making is an indicator of the dragon's "status" to me.
meaning:
Handle Animal - Pet
Diplomacy - Friend
Intimidate - Slave
And of course, if I run across a GM that finds it annoying, I don't have to use them at all.
Thanks guys. ^_^

First of all, I'd rule Diplomacy. Handle Animal talks exclusively about animals, which a pseudodragon isn't. It's a magical beast which might as well be an aberration as far as Handle Animal is concerned.
Second, you've got a good argument that you should be applying to the pseudodragon, not us. Explain to it that you'd like to make it a partner in your endeavors. You'll give it shelter and food and companionship and in return you'd like to ask it to perform occasional favors that would help you out. Give it a choice. Point out "if you just take off right now, you might get captured again. If you stick with me at least for a while, you've chosen to get involved with exciting deeds and nobody will put you in a cage. You can take off whenever you want... you're not a prisoner anymore, but I'd like you to consider that partnering up with me benefits us both. Oh, by the way... here's a chunk of fried squirrel. Yummy, yes?"
Any DM worth their salt would give you a hefty bonus on the Diplomacy check because you're expressing something very reasonable.

It's good that you and the Pseudodragon have the same alignment.
As a DM, I'd make you roleplay building a good relationship with it, which may include numerous diplomacy rolls early on, if you prefer rolling a skill to playing out scenes. Once you're fast friends, I'd leave the roles out entirely.
Diplomacy is definitely more appropriate than Handle Animal.

Yeah, if it were a single GM campaign, I would go that route, but when I go through like 4-5 different GM's it's not so easy to express the relationship, lol.
That's kind of why I was hoping there was a set of rules lying around that I didn't know about.
heh, when I think about it, I'm more likely to get PC's to vouch for my relational history than a GM...but any way.
Yeah, Anguish you've got a good point. Role playing well tends to let anything slide for sheer fancy. Hurray for believing a game is a game. :D

Friend does not equal minion... so while diplomacy would work to make it positively inclined to you, you would definitely be needing to give it something worthwhile to act as your minion... possibly even bribing it to preform each action you ask of it.
If you want to represent a more long term relationship then I would definitely recommend looking into something like the Leadership feat to represent it.
