Converting monsters and magic from Dragon Magizine

Conversions

Quite a while ago I started converting pretty much all the content that I liked from Dragon to 3.5. I was almost done when two things happened: Pathfinder came out, and I started freelancing for Pathfinder, and my little pet project got set aside. I am thinking of restarting it once again, tweaking them to Pathfinder. It will be done inbetween life in general, and paying monster design..but anyone that wants them, can happily have them, as I get them done. The only thing I can't supply is artwork.
So whos in? ;-)

Sounds great...

So in, might even try my hand at the artwork also.

I like this idea. I am hoping to get the first batch ready this week, depending on life in general

I like it! I've been looking at pieces from various issues to incorporate into my impending home game.

Not sure what I can do to help as I am not a developer/designer by any stretch of the imagination.

So, were you just interested in Dragon Magizine or have you thought of converting any of the Dungeon Magizine stuff over to Pathfinder? If you thought of doing some of the Dungeon stuff over I would be interested!

It depends on exactly what you mean. Single monster entries are easy..converting adventures is a lot more time consuming, simply from the rewrites, That said, there are some I would dearly love to do one day. Its a goal..lol

I would be verry interested in seeing your work. do you need my e-mail?

Definitely dropping you a line.

The 1st set of stuff is almost done. I picked basically at random, things that I could get done fairly fuss free.

If that's the first group, they look very nice.

Great work.

(And its always fun to throw somethign completely unknown at your players....)

Thanks! I am not sure when then next part will be ready. Tis the season for insanity at work, and I have a few paying projects to work on. I wish I could include issue numbers, but the actual mags are all packed away..no way I have enough free time to dig them out and go through them

I am glad everyone liked the 1st release. I will chip away at #2 as I work on the handful of new projects I have in my lap

I thought about the Issue numbers and which issues they came from, but figured that was a nice to have but not a necessity and the fact that you are providing this in the first place is huge.

I recognized a few of them as I had been flipping through some of my back issues anyway.

Look forward to the next installment at your convenience and by all means, paying stuff first! :)

Thanks again.

I'd be interested in sharing what you've got. Mittean@hotmail.com

As I said in my e-mail reply, do please put down the original reference for where you got the monster, spell, item, or domain.

Just dropped you an email, this sounds like the type of conversion project I love to stumble across, Dragon Magazine gave us so much excellent material throughout the years, and to see the vast majority of it all locked away from Pathfinder compatibility really sucked. Thank You for not only undertaking this project, but for deciding to share with the community, very cool of you.

Just sent an email. I'd love to see these as well.

Thanks for the quick response, the conversions look fantastic, really good mix of older material, can't wait to see what you include in the next batch. Thanks again.
