Toy sized dogs? (Companions and small terriers)

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Silver Crusade

There are nobility in the Pathfinder world, right?
So where are the bestiary entries for toy sized dogs? What would one do to make a toy sized dog? And how would a terrier (tiny vermin hunter) be different from a toy dog? The book entry says that dogs range from 20-50 lb, however a the largest toy breed weights only 18 lb.

Just wondering, since I'm going to be running a campaing with lots of nobles.

On another note, I guess I would need to change any name that refers to a place on earth, or a language on earth.
Such as Pappilon to Butterfly Dog.

Any words for me?

Dog with the young template?

Use a foxes stats, You can find them here

Just use a cat stat block and refluff it as a dog.

Use Fox or reduce the dog to Tiny size. You can use the Young template or there's the more complex monster rules in the back of the Bestiary if you want/need to do it manually.

Use the stats for a rat. LOL
