Greetings,
I cannot find a definitive answer. Can I, as a druid, use the summon monster list for summon nature's ally and if so where is the reference for this? I see no mention of using this list in the Core rule book.

You cast Summon Natures Ally, NOT summon monster. You use the summon natures ally list. This feel like asking "I cast Scorching Ray, but i want it to be flaming sphere instead" they are the same school and even a little similar in effect but they are still different spells

So, to be certain, in this druid guide, the section where he raves about how good riding dogs are is essentially incorrect?

Riding Dogs have been errata'd out for a year or more now from SM1 and I guess SNA1

JJ has said that Riding Dogs is an error ages ago...I wish they would up date this
