Hey, everyone (I'm always here to flood the forums with inane questions:3)
I was just curious about large weapons on medium sized characters.
As far as I can tell, the only weapons that can be used as large weapons are one handed, or light weapons. Light weapons become one handed, one handed becomes two handed and two handed weapons become unusable.
Does this also apply to Bows as well? Manly Long/Comp Long Bows? Meaning that seeing how their two handed as medium weapons, they cannot be used once they are large by a medium character (they don't just take the -2 to hit)?

Ranged weapons work a little differently, though your ultimate conclusion is correct.
A bow requires two hands to use, if you can use it at all. It's not listed on the weapons table as one-handed or two-handed. However the Weapon Size section does apply to all weapons, not just melee. Since the effort to use a bow increases with a size step, it must have some defined level of effort at its proper size. Most logically, we could treat it as a two-handed weapon.
A Small creature trying to use a Medium bow, then, treats it as a step larger than two-handed and can't use it at all. A Large creature trying to use a Medium bow treats it as a one-handed weapon for purposes of weapon size, still needs two hands to use it because that's the rule given in the bow's description, and takes a -2 penalty because the wielder is one size category different from the size for which the weapon is suited. A Gargantuan creature trying to use a Medium bow can't do it because the weapon is too small.
