(this is based on the average age thread)

How much do you get to spend?

.

I make $50K a year.

I think I could (could have) made more, but I spend too much time gaming.

$10.8K

$116K

You could do an interesting correlation between this and the education thread.

I'm also interested to see who will actually respond on this one (folks are so dodgy on talking about money).

I can't technically answer this question without risking my job.

Yes people normally are:

$30k

The Exchange

I'm broke. :(

I'm not sure. I use direct deposit and I don't pay much attention to it or 'raise time' at work. I'm somewhere around $90k.

Enough to live comfortably while raising three kids - meaning I'm broke as the kids get to have have all the goodies!!!

Dark Archive

about 865k

Less than 30K now. That will jump to 60+ after I have my masters. It will then jump to 100K+ after I get my PHD. Projections based on average salaries in my field.

Malhavocblackthorne - Way to blow the curve, man. :)

Sorry I'm a neurosurgeon, I can say I'm broke if that helps.

1.3 billion a year on average...

LOL! Way to take a hit for the team! :) Good man.

This smells remarkably like male bovine excrement.

Dammit! Who let Bill Gates on the site!

72K a year, High School education with sixteen years in my career field.

Sczarni

41K

Sovereign Court

Does student loan count as income?

Dark Archive

Well it's only natural that there will a few high earning people out there, and the great majority be between 20-60k

Sovereign Court

38k a year on my own. Been higher at one point made 55k but with the economy and Off shoring I make far less just to work. My BF makes about 35k. We live together and share the rent, bills, car payment, insurance, etc. In the end I am broke more often than him only because I have to pay child support and he does not.

HS grad, BF has a double BA and an MA and he can only find work in construction

$110K plus whatever my wife makes in a given year, she is in sales so it goes up and down.

Well he didn't say what currency he was using to describe his income.

Maybe it is molecules of gold.

This one seems to have gotten lost.

Grand Lodge

I'm an admin at a private school so I really can't say, but 65-85 is typical for my position in this part of the country.

60k plus overtime and whatever my wife brings in.

about 18k, not much i know but in this town im lucky to have a job

I don't know that student loans count as income. If I were working full time where I'm working part time (on account of that school thing) which I've done in the past I'd make around $25k. If I could find a job that paid even 15/hr I'd quit school, no lies.

Liberty's Edge

I really can't tell if Tensor is the best troll or is totally sincere all the time.

Either way, BIG UPS>
