Druids and Subdomains

Rules Questions

Scarab Sages

Pretty straight forward question: Are Druids who take Nature Bond and have a Clerical Domain able to then take a Subdomain as shown in the Advanced Player's Guide?

Yes.

Anyone who gets a domain can get a subdomain.

And unlike clerics, whose subdomain choices must match their deity (not every deity allows all the subdomains associated with their domains), druids can take any corresponding subdomain because their powers don't come from a deity.

I do think I remember hearing, though, that druids can't take the "metal" subdomain. I can't think of where I saw that, though.

From the Subdomains section in the APG.

"Subdomains can be selected by Druids (except the metal subdomain) and inquisitors (if their deity allows it)."

Yeah, I figured it was probably someplace obvious like that. Didn't have time to check right then. Thanks Grick.

Thank you everyone for the responses and the help, was guessing it was somewhere obvious right under my nose. Was curious because I recently encountered a situation with Druids using the Growth Subdomain (w/Enlarge Person) and Shillelagh. With very, very nasty results.
