This came up in a thread discussion about barbarian pounce. When calculating whether you get the extra attack from pseudo ImpTWF and pseudo GTWF, do you use your BAB or your monk level.
Example A: Fighter19/Monk1 Flurries. BAB is +20, higher than 15 and 8, so flurry adds 3 attacks for a total of 7.
Example B: Fighter19/Monk1 Flurries. BAB is +20 but monk level is still only 1, so only one flurry is added for a total of 5 attacks.

Flurry of Blows: "At 8th level, the monk can make two additional attacks when he uses flurry of blows..."
You're not an 8th level monk, so you don't have that ability.
Given This FAQ Monks use their Flurry BAB. I agree with Grick you do not get any more that one off hand attack.
I agree with both of you, but apparently this is a bone of contention. I'm glad I'm not alone, however, as if it worked the other way no one would ever take more than a few levels in monk.
As official as I can find:
Ross Byers (Assistant Software Developer): "Unless specified otherwise, "level" in a class description refers to levels in that particular class."
"At 8th level, the monk can make two additional attacks when he uses flurry of blows, as if using Improved Two-Weapon Fighting (even if the monk does not meet the prerequisites for the feat).
At 15th level, the monk can make three additional attacks using flurry of blows, as if using Greater Two-Weapon Fighting (even if the monk does not meet the prerequisites for the feat)."
Clear cut. No need to question it.
