How much does a camel cost?

Looking through several books I can't seem to find a cost for them anywhere.

Also, with the Adventurer's Armory there are weights listed for all the animals, so getting a weight would also be fantastic.

Sandstorm (a book for 3.5 D&D) lists a dromedary camel as 75 gp, a two-humped camel as 100 gp, and a trained war camel at 450 gp.

Wikipedia puts an average dromedary at about 800-1200 pounds.

Edit: Comparing the stats for camels and horses, I would price the camel the same as a light horse.

This. Always, always, this. Grab a reasonable price from the lists you DO have, and roll with it. Since a camel is, effectively, just a 'desert horse', that's the price I'd pick as well.
