Kingmaker?
Certainly. I'm just asking for some votes here, I don't know which I like most. Kingmaker presents unique obstacles in the exploration portions. It works entirely well at a table, but for pbp... I don't know if it'd work. I'd be perfectly willing to try. But I see posts coming along the lines of
So... I guess we'll head to the northwest and explore the next hex.
And I notice that many of the hexes contain nothing concrete, making for more work for me if I want to keep it interesting. Just some unique challenges. Either way I'd be willing. I'm just gonna leave this thread open for a bit and make a recruitment thread of whichever I get the most interest for.

NP, just stating. I think Kingmaker basically starts with -1 or 2 on votes, just for extra toughness. That said, if enough people want to try, I'm ok with it.

I really, really, want to play Rise of the Runelords, though I know it's 3.5
I don't really know too much about the others, but Id be willing play in most anything lol. RotR gets my vote though.

Assuming you're sending a call out to the masses, I'd relish the chance to play in a Carrion Crown game. Kingmaker or Serpent's Skull are both close seconds.
I've never played any of the APs, but I have read the descriptions on the website. That said, the older games sound more interesting to me. Rise seems like a good place to start, especially for those whenever had a chance to play it.

If this is meant playfully, haha, I'm sorry but I can laugh at my own problems, ignore the next bit.
If this is meant spitefully, which it seems to be, forgive me for pointing out that starting a game which has already been written for me, in a format I have no difficulty with, and in a game system that I've been playing for more than ten years now, is a very different time investment than putting in dozens of hours of work crafting my own setting, enemies, and other such things in a super-crunchy system that I've only played for a couple of years and which I have no pre-made to help with. While I understand your annoyance at the fact that I was unable to continue that game, I don't particularly appreciate you cluttering other threads with your grievance. I have already apologized for wasting your time, have made my position clear, and have no need of your snarky comments in the future, I hope you do well in your future endeavors.

I would dearly love to get into a pbp game on any format where I live we don't have many options for gaming Ive played a little Kingmaker but love it so any of them sound good to me hope to hear when the recruitment starts up
If I may, I'd make two suggestions.
Choice #1: Second Darkness.
Choice #2: Curse of the Crimson Throne.
I like city-based APs but CotCT has seen a lot of play on these forums, and not as much as Second Darkness.

id put it down to 90% playfull, 10% snarky. i totally understand your POV on not enough time to put into designing a campaign (been a DM for 15 yrs myself) and see the appeal at running a prefab.

OK, I'm glad there's not a whole lot of bad feelings. Believe me, I know how much it sucks putting a lot of effort into making a char and such just to have the game fall apart, and I'm sorry about that. If you'd like, feel free to put up a concept for this campaign, when I decide what to do. You seem to be fun to work with and I have no hard feelings about the snark.
I'd enjoy the chance at either Rise of the Runelords or Curse of the Crimson Throne, myself, too. Perhaps I should prepare "Prettyboy" Scrate again... a half-elf paladin of Shelyn that never really got over his cruel streak from his time as a brute enforcer...

I'm not sure what AP my character idea (thinking a Cavalier along the lines of Etien Navarre from the movie Ladyhawke) would fit best in, but I think Curse of the Crimson Throne sounds interesting. Although Rise of the Runelords would be interesting too. :)
