Rage+Orc bloodline Touch of Rage

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Eldritch heritage lets you get bloodline powers, and I've seen mentioned going abyssal for it with a barb to get ImpEH and get the str bonus, but it doesn't max out till lv 19 for the +6, but if you took greater, you get it at 17, which in nice, but you get the useless Added Summonings power. now wrap focus is a feat, +1 to attack rolls, but if you get the last _2 from Abyssal Strenght at 19 anyway there is no point.

So going Orc Bloodline is better cause you get Power of Giants, (Large +6str, +4con, +4 nar armor. sweet buff for 17 minutes per day) whic is pretty sweet for a feat. IMHO that makes it worth it more worthwhile at the end of the day. 4 feats for A huge buff, +6str, and the +3 for survival, Which has been a useful skill for my barbs a few times.

The question is about Touch of Rage, +2 moral to attack and damage for a turn. I know the Will save bonus doesn't stack, it's either the Rage bonus, or the Bloodline power bonus.

You get the Str bonus for Rage, AND the +2 attack and Damage for the power if you use it for a +4, right?
Would you need to use it before you Rage, or Moment of Clarity to activate it during rage, or can you just activate it on the fly while raging, cause it isn't really a spell?

Also, if you were to be a Dragon Disciple with Greater EH (orc) could you use Power of Giants while under the effects of the DD ability Dragon Form?

Power of Giants doesn't call itself out as a Polymorph effect, but is it?

It doesn't matter because even if you activate both, they both give size bonuses. The same bonuses don't stack in PF you only get the better one.

although Form of Dragon 1 gives +4 str, +2 con and +4 nat, but giant gives a +6str and a +4 con AND makes you large, which Dragon 1 does not do.

With Form Dragon you get Bite, Claw, Claw, Wing, Wing, Breath Weapon, Darkvision, and elemental resistance, and stack it with Power of Giants, and you get Large size, Nat attacks, and stat bonuses. So if the better elements replace the weaker ones, you are almost able to slip into a light version of Form of Dragon 2, without the DR or better Dragon stuff.

this is why i ask

So +6STR +4con +4NA, large and all the ther good stuff from FOtD. In addition to the +6 inherent str from Orc bloodline and 4 str and2 con from Dragon disciple..

so at 19th you could have +16 str +6 con +4NA and still be able to get buffs from belts/spell that grant enhancement bonuses. or just +10str +3con from classes and orc bloodline feats.

now THATS a battle sorc.
BArb11 / sorc1/ dd8 with eldritch heritage(orc)
if you start with a 20, have a +6 item, +4 DD, +6 inh, +5 levels, +6 size +6 raging, you can get a 53 str... good to know

amplified rage can bring that to 57... hmmm

and if you don't know what to do with your feats, you can also toss in a second Imp EH to get Fearless from the Orc bloodline and add another +2 to your natural armor of +5 from DD and Bloodline plus immunity to fear

Sidebar: Would touch of rage work with the spell enervation? instead of doing d4 negative level would it do d4+the bonus from ToR in negative levels?
