Ok so before you proceed does Orestes attempt to disguise Rivain or not? I'd like to know that ahead of time.

I will submit to the decision of the group on the disguise issue, if they think it'll cause a serious problem then I'll let him disguise me and speak in Elven.

Male Dwarf Leve 2 Monk (of the sacred mountain of the four winds)

If we draw any attention before we get there, we should apply the disguise. If we don't draw any unwanted attention we'll just go with the plan we have I guess.

*Eager to get the rest of this business attended to, I start heading off in the direction of the tavern, hoping to draw the rest of the party along with me*

Male Dwarf Leve 2 Monk (of the sacred mountain of the four winds)

Morwan will keep close to Ark and Rivain. If we find the tavern, I'll hitch the donkey up like before.

Once we reach the tavern I will pull my hood up over my head and hide my face deeply within and speak only in elven.

male half orc 2 cleric (undead lord)

Ok then Chip, ready to start your people skills?

You quickly and easily arrive at the Sodden Lad thanks to your new friends directions. It's a small two story brick building with a sign indicating it's name. Standing at the door are two orcs leaning against the wall. They appear to be just hanging outside but your adventuring instincts tell you they're unofficial bouncers. They pretend to not notice your group as you approach but eye you warily, and give you a once over.
Due to the fact that they are checking you out they are going to make perception. They are mostly sizing you up, looking for weapons and the like. The dc for them to notice Rivain as human you walk in is 22 thanks to the fact they aren't looking for that and the size of your group. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 201d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 if they notice you as human they don't do anything until after you have already past

you enter into the tavern, the smell of sweat and ale permeates the room as well as a thick lingering smoke of pipe weed. Elven bards sing dirges in a corner while games of chance occur in another. The room is heavily segregated by elf, Orc, and dwarf sections while halfling waiters bring food around the room.

Orestes needs to make a stealth and perception to scout a back entrance

Male Dwarf Leve 2 Monk (of the sacred mountain of the four winds)

Morwan will enter the bar and attempt to find an open spot for three, near the dwarf section if possible.

"Ark, care you grab us a round of drinks? It's on me this time."

I'll hand Ark my pouch of silver, and will stay close to Rivain. After getting situated, I'll light my pipe and casually observe the bar inhabitants.

Gonna roll a perception check, trying to spot any members of the knife-ear gang.

Perception:
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

The dwarves in the section you take a seat in regard you drunkenly with a nod before eying your friends. After a second they shrug and let you get settled. They are all covered in soot stains and sweat and smell of forges.8! you peer through the crowd and look for any Knife-ear boys but can't seem to place any faces or identifying marks. The elves are mostly covered and bundled and seem to be keeping to themselves. Beyond that the elves and orcs are giving each other "the stink eye" and you have that feeling that the tension is pretty thick between them.

*I'll take Morwan's silver pouch and make my way to the bar. On the way, I'll look around the place for our quarry*

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15

*Once I reach the bar, I'll purchase 3 ales and bring them back to where Morwan has decided to sit*

After waiting a few minutes on the group, I enter the bar, purchase a drink and head over towards the elven area. Looking out for anything suspicious.

rolls:
Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Diplomacy to start conversation with the elves in nearby seats.
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18

Speaking in elven: "How's the day treating you, my friends?"

Perception 15! you can't make out any of the knife ear boys or their leader. The elves sadly all look too similar a dark and smoky tavern. (on a side note, the tavern has dim lighting thanks the sconces and lanterns about. Dark vision is effectively off here, while low-light is at it's best advantage). You purchase the drinks and head back over to the table, noticing Cramorn enter and head to the elven section.

Speaking in elven: "How's the day treating you, my friends?"

Perception 8! you don't notice anything suspicious as you make your way through the room and taken empty seat in the elven section. You attempt to strike up a conversation with the elves. Diplomacy 18+2demihuman+2elf=22! the elves quickly take to you and you get to know them fairly well, they speak in their native tongue of lost years in the old forests before the wars and advancement of men put them where they are today. Few of them have been outside the city, but at the rate your going if Jacapo is here or if one of them knows him, they'll likely spill the beans. It's a matter of asking the right questions now.

I keep to myself and keep my hood pulled up and try to avoid talking to anyone. I also keep my less than keen eyes peeled for Jacapo.

Perception 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
