make a str based magus, use a scimitar.
power attack, combat exp, weapon focus, combat casting maybe.
traits heiloom weapon (free +1 to hit with black blade), a trait for +2 concentration or +2 init.
I don't think that will work as your heirloom weapon is not the Black Blade. You get the heirloom weapon before you get the Black Blade. Could ask your DM to allowed it though.

I think the OP's just asking about equipment advice, not character design advice, anyway - we know he has a Black Blade, let's just accept it and move on... ;)
My first thoughts with a Magus generally go to their distinct lack of survivability in melee - being only a d8 Hit Die class, with limited armour and no shield, can get you killed. Spells (blur, mirror image) can help, sure, but I'd get some solid, basic, AC-boosting items if I could.
Generally magic armour is the cheapest, but mix-n-match that with the ol' Ring of Protection and Amulet of Natural Armour to see which combo gets you the most AC for your few gold coins. The basic +1 Ring or Amulet starts at 2,000gp, for example, whilst Armour goes from 1,000gp for +1 to 4,000gp for +2 (in other words, the second +1 bonus costs you 3,000gp). So getting some +1 Armour, a +1 Ring of Protection, and a +1 Amulet of Natural Armour costs you 5,000gp, where +3 Armour would cost you 9,000gp.
The other obvious choice for a Magus is Pearls of Power. You're a prepared spellcaster - these little beauties are one of the advantages of being that.
Wands are another thing to look at. Infernal Healing, for example, is on your spell list - pick up a wand of it for 750gp and you actually get more healing bang for your buck than with a wand of Cure Light Wounds.
Also, see if the DM is included extra spells scribed into your spellbook as allowable 'equipment' to have purchased - a few extra spells known here and there can really help round out your character's repetoire.
They're all just basic / bog-standard ideas. If you let us know more about the character and what you want to do with it that may help.

One could easily point out from the Black Blade sidebar.
There are several ways a magus might gain this weapon.
Sometimes it just appears among the magus’s possessions,
and its origin is a mystery. Other times the magus finds
a black blade during an adventure or event of some kind.
Sometimes a black blade is passed down generation to
generation in an ongoing search for a magus who can
unlock its true potential.

I would look towards the defensive items myself. You have your magical weapon taken care of with your Blackblade. Magical set of armor, ring of protection, amulet of natural protection, that would take 5000+ of your gold right there. Then look towards maybe a as said before by other folks a few scrolls that you can get scribed into your spell books so you can be better prepared.

That's what I was meaning. It can work but ask you GM as the bolded part say "sometimes" so it's not a guarantee that's how the GM will introduce it. It would really suck to have Heirloom weapon only to have the Black Blade appear in your back back pack at level 3. I can't see any DM not allowing it but let them know. I've run games where I didn't look over a players sheet that closely, could easily slip my mind as I work the game to introduce the sword.
