I will be in your area for a few days next week, and I was simply curious if you have any sort of tours or some such thing at your offices. I imagine the chances are quite slim, but I have never been able to make it to PaizoCon or any such thing and I would kick myself if I was so close and did not at least inquire about getting to meet some of the people who make my favorite game. Thank you!

No problem, didn't hurt to ask. And may I just say, the fact that the CEO herself answered my question is unbelievably awesome. I want to buy all of you a beer (or some other beverage as you prefer)! :D
But you know, if you buy everyone pizza and come as the pizza delivery guy......

Yep, sorry, but we don't give tours of the offices. There is all sorts of super top-secret stuff pinned up on the walls and on people's desks. Plus, there isn't much to see. Lots of office furniture. :) Sorry about that.

How about erecting some kind of shrine in the parking lot? A sort of spiritual mecca for gamers. Maybe fans could light a candle, meditate the grapple rules, and make offerings of pizza and baked goods.

And Mountain Dew. All good offerings should include the nectar of the gods, after all.

Since Hero Lab is the "official character generator" for Paizo, are there any plans to release NPC portfolios along with the AP modules? Lonewolf has downloads for items, magic, etc. to include but not NPC stats.
This is definitely on our "todo list". The problems we're contending with are two-fold. First, the volume of new Pathfinder content that keeps getting released has been a bear to stay on top off, and we've given priority to the new supplements over APs. Second, many of the NPCs/monsters in the APs (especially the earlier ones) don't play by the rules. This often takes the form of leveraging non-official rules like 3PP content or using old 3.5 OGL content (or both). At other times, creative license is taken with an encounter that completely eschews the official rules. When the NPCs/monsters don't follow the official rules, the time involved to create them increases, which makes it even harder to get them done while also keeping up with all the new content that is continually being released.
In the mean time, you'll find many of the NPCs/monsters from the APs available through our support forums, thanks to the efforts of other Pathfinder players that have already done the work.
Hope this helps....

Lisa: A blog post with some general (non-spoilery) pics of the office and environs might be nice. Just kinda curious.
I don't want to break your heart, but it looks like a typical commercial office space, complete with Herman Miller cubicles, just with way more geek toys and books...oh, and a warehouse. :)

Hmmm. Yeah. That's a legitimate fear.

What you need to do is set up a corner of the warehouse in a sort of Halloween Carnival type of trip through Paizoland. Charge like 10 bucks, show a lot of product and then give the victim^H^H^H^H^H^Hcustomer some really cool memento like a d6. Much more profitable than a shrine.

I wrote a blog post last year in September which offered a "virtual" tour of the Paizo offices (virtual meaning online, alas, no office pictures).

This video is the old office, not the new one.... but it might give you a bit of an idea.

Remember, you don't have to outrun the toys, just the slowest Paizo staffers. :)
