Hey guys,
I'm going starting a Legacy of Fire game and am looking for 5 players over all but there might be 2 spots filled already. I'll get back to you tomorrow for sure on that and I won't know classes.
Character Creation:
2d6+6 for stats(I'm generous that way)
2 traits
Any class from Core, APG, or Ultimate Magic. I won't allow playtest classes...sorry.
Any race from Core or the Bestiaries(has to have a playable template)
Average starting gold
Posting a rough outline will work but I wouldn't mind seeing a statblock. I will not be requiring alises at this point(we'll do that once I've selected my players).
Recruitment will be open until next Wednesday(allow for the early applications to not develop an ulcer waiting) but this will NOT be first come first serve so please put your best foot forward. I'll be using party balance and backgrounds to make the final call.
I would like people who apply to be able to post once a day during the week and once on the weekends(we all get busy especially during this time of year).
Can't wait to see your designs.

Ok well I guess stats first
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 2) + 6 = 142d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 3) + 6 = 102d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 5) + 6 = 132d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 6 = 112d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 112d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 6 = 13 Wow so those are the worst stats I think I've ever rolled lol. Thats a 13 point buy. Huzzah! With those I think I will play a human commoner lol.

Let's give 'em a roll...
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 6) + 6 = 16
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 6 = 14

Hmmm, I see some names of players I would enjoy playing along with!
Let's see where we go with this:
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 11
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 1) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 3) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6) + 6 = 13
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 5) + 6 = 14
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 1) + 6 = 13
Edit: Wow, middle of the road but no real dumps! I'll just have to play smart.

Well, lets roll up some stats then. I'm excited about the possibility of playing, a LoF campaign is what i've been looking for to join.
I've thrown in a very rough outline for a character as well, which I'll refine if you're interested.
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 = 122d6 + 6 ⇒ (5, 2) + 6 = 132d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2) + 6 = 112d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 2) + 6 = 142d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 6) + 6 = 142d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 2) + 6 = 10
Eh, average stats but I can deal with that, at least there's nothing below 10.
Name: Dolgen Dulforge
Age: 53
Class: Magus
Dolgen is descended from a proud clan of Smiths, each generation of Dulforges striving to best their previous generations accomplishments. However, their biggest claim to fame was the art of construct building, the clans secrets closely guarded.
Dolgan was raised in the family traditions, with a strong sense of Clan loyalty instilled into him, but as the years came and went something stirred within him, the warhammers he forged gave him as great a pleasure to wield as to craft, but he felt there was more. One day he came across an old tome, and the writings inscribed in it awoke something, he felt a power grow, and he cast his first spell.
He wanted to learn more, but his Clan was unable to aid him, they knew nothing of the workings of magic, and so they sent him out into the world with their blessing, to learn what he could...

Cahal'Din is a giant Osirian of Keleshite origin, towering 6'6" with long, powerful and gracious limbs. The desert has taken a toll on his Keleshite features. His skin is darker and his emerald eyes are like slits. He rarely shaves, nor cares much for his black hair and carries with him the smells of travel. He wears loose fitting garments that are the color of the plains and the sands, often hiding his face behind a scarf of cerulean and sand.
Born under the savage desert sun of the Sahure Wastes, Cahal'Din fell prey to the tribal wars of the elemental tribes of Osirion as he was leaving childhood. His cupid captor sold him to a slave trader. That's where he met his first mentor Dahnakrist Phi. Enthralled by the man’s tales and vision, he begged and stole, supporting the cause of the slave who would be freed. His mentor turned him into a sharp weapon, developing his knowledge and his skills, learning the arts of mecanisms and the secrets of alchemy.
Yet, soon enough, the desert beckoned. Cahal’Din followed his wild spirit and fled his owner east to the Underdunes and the ruins of Tumen. For years he lived off the land and looted the ancient ruins. On rare occasions, he came back and met secretly with Dahnakrist Phi, spending long nights fascinated by the man's passion. Following his mentor’s advice, he crossed to Katapesh, to build a new life for himself, only to be captured and put back to slavery once more. Fortunately, the Pactmasters have offered him to earn his freedom back by helping to free Kelmarane and the trading route to Osirion.

Name: Helthos Vor'obyev
Class: Oracle (Tounges Curse; Time Mystery)Helthos was raised in a village in Numeria, and seemed normal untill the enforcers of the Technic League came for his parents as part of the Black Soverign's reign of terror. Helthos fled his parent's fate and lived for a time with a distant relative in the very shadow of one of the mysterious silver mountains of Numeria.
The prolonged exposure to this strange artifact changed Helthos somehow. He began having dreams of strange languages and creatures, and occasionally spoke words he should not have known when angered. Finally he gained a measure of spellcasting power, however at this point, word of his strange power had reached the Technic League, who sent Automata to capture him. Cornered, Helthos prepared himself to meet his parent's fate, however the Automaton seemingly allowed him to escape. He ran, first to Absalom and then to Katapesh, hoping that he would be able to outrun the wrath of those who wanted his power for their own.

A hairless monk with skin like bronze, Dominic, appears to be you’re average sun-seared Keleshite. However, when he looks you in the eyes it betrays his extra-planar heritage. His eyes are reddish-gold and when angered they appear to burn. He stands about six feet tall, and walks around in a loose fitting robe tied at the waist. Occasionally, when the robe gets caught in the wind or when not wearing the robe, you can see a purple and knotted scar running across Dom’s belly. Underneath he wears a loincloth, and to keep the sun off his head he also wears a turban and scarf. These are orange and red.
An foundling of the Irori Faith, he spent his early years travelling with Abdul-Matin Celest. Abdul treated Dominic as his son, and it is for this reason that Dominic shares his last name. Where Dominic was born or what his heritage was lost to the sands, but Dom didn’t care. He grew and trained under Abdul-Matin until, while on a mission to the tribes of Osirion, Dom and his adoptive father were caught in one of the battles of the tribal wars. Abdul-Matin was killed, and Dom was gravely wounded. He managed to crawl from the battlefield and, delirious and on death’s door, it was then that Haleen found him.
Haleen had been travelling when she encountered Dom. Intelligent and experienced as she was, she took him in and healed his wounds. A little research revealed Dom’s heritage to her, and she took over the job of raising the young monk. She never questioned his religious rituals or his training, in fact, she encouraged and helped where she could. She even helped him with his night-terrors, those dreams of all-consuming fire. He still has them to this day, but Haleen’s council and advice helps him keep his sanity, even as she is gone. With her recent disappearance, Dom has stopped his training and paid only a token respect to Irori. He solemnly believes that it is time for him to repay his debt to Haleen and save her from whatever has kidnapped her. Thus he has joined Garavel’s group of mercenaries headed for Kelmarane.

Half-orc Paladin of Sarenrae. Haven't decided on a name yet, but she was abandoned as an infant by a mother who had no wish to raise a half-breed bastard. She was lucky enough that she was left at the entrance to a church of Sarenrae rather than left out in the open desert for the elements to take care of. She found acceptance being raised by the priestesses of the church and became a devout follower of the goddess and felt the call to become a divine champion of Sarenrae.

Ok here is Ripnok the goblin. He is currently a slave in Katapesh but has joined onto the expedition in order to win his freedom. He has lived his whole life as a slave and is determined to be free. He has a good heart which is odd for a goblin, but is mostly because he feels like the gods are testing him against his evil blood and he wants to make sure that the gods are approving of him. Specifically he worships Sarenrae, who he believes appeared to him in a vision, and told him the path he must walk.

FURTHER EDIT:
I envisioned Jivaji using his environment to his advantage as much as possible, and I chose the trapsmith archetype for that reason as well. He will attempt to create quick traps with marbles strew on the floor, caltrops, bear traps, trip wires, snare traps, what have you. He is terribly paranoid :)

Okay due to surprising interest(and a few friends showing up) I am going to be opening this up to 6 players now.
I've got one for sure(has already started finalizing his character) and another one that is 99% sure they want to play. So that means 4 slots are open right now.
Because I've already gotten so many interested in this I'm going to cut off apps tomorrow night. And have my decision up on Wednesday morning which means we can probably start this Friday.

What classes have your friends chosen?

I'd like an opportunity to play if only because you're having us roll for our stats and I love rolling for stats.

Personality:
Foil is an energetic youthful man, with words as sweet as wild honey yet as poignant as the bees that produce it. His wit is nearly as sharp as his eyes, exponentially superseded only by a thrown weapon. Beneath the Kaleshite’s candor lies the practiced focus and unshakable certainty of a sentinel. The scout is outwardly confident and impulsive, yet subtly tracking the odds like a skilled gambler, acting decisively with a coiled reign on his passions.
Background:
Born under the hot sun amongst the sands of the southern Katapesh desert, Kardal was raised a nomad and tracker. He learned from birth that water was life and excelled at adapting known methods of desert survival to ever changing scenarios. The ability to think on his feet and overcome unyielding natural challenges chiseled within himself an adventurer’s spirit, as he became a guide and guardian for caravans moving to and from the lands of golden sun.
Appearance:
Wrapped beneath light robes, Foil’s features are sharply symmetrical, as angular cheek and jaw bone compliment deep pools of almond colored eyes spiced with red flecks. His hair grows to the shoulder and is black as coal while a thin white scar runs down the left facet of his face. The scout wears no metal that can be seen, but matching leather and cotton cloth.

I'm not going to roll stats or anything like that until I know I'm in, I will post my character concept though.
I'd like to say I was in a few pbp that I wound up losing internet and unable to complete, so it looked like I just up and vanished, but I didn't. I'm in no such danger, so I should be free to post without any problems.
Concept:
In the deserts east of Katapesh there is a kingdom who centers themselves around a special flower that grants near eternal life. Once part of a powerful merchant's guild who helped to secure that flower, the youngest brother of the Ild family witnessed the assassination and destruction of the important members of his family. In a political move designed to remove his group from their control, his family was killed. Not seeking revenge, but simply to leave, he fled to Katapash. It was possible he would come back to find revenge, but for now he had made peace with it. A stoic at heart, he keeps his brother's blade with him and seeks to find his place in a group of mercenaries or merchants. His ambitions lead him to wish to rule them and return back to his home, but he is patient.
Build:
Two-handed fighter with a focus on critical enhancing feats and combat control feats. Will be able to do damage, but focus will be on making the fights easier for his comrades. Includes things like Improved Dirty Trick, Improved drag, feats like that.
Alternative:
If melee isn't needed, it'll be a ranged focus character using the Exotic Weapon: Double crossbow and that feat chain. Very fun build.

Faradin is from one of the nomadic tribes of Katapesh. He was shamed and banished from his tribe after the clan was attacked by gnolls while he neglected watch duty. (There was an attractive young lady involved...) He tried to redeem himself in the fighting, but he was not yet fully grown or trained and was merely knocked out and left for dead. The gnolls were driven off, but took many captives with them. When he recovered, he was cast out of the clan.
He eventually made it to the city and has been doing mercenary work, guarding caravans and the like ever since. In an attempt at redemption, in his own eyes at least, he has sworn himself to his duty to his job and loyalty to his companions.
So, a human Cavalier, Order of the Dragon. Gnoll-Killer campaign trait, obviously. I haven't worked up the full character yet, but he's intended to be a fairly straightforward Cavalier: Front line thug, with Face skills.
