I have started wearing purple.
That was in my English book in 8th grade.
Several of the players in my favourite football team weren't born by the time I quit the sport.
I can't get into most new forms of music (where's the god-damned guitars‽ damnit!)
I grunt when I stand up.
Can't listen to the radio, I hate everything I hear on the new-stuff stations and the old-stuff stations don't play any of the good stuff (or overplay it into oblivion). Thank goodness for MP3 players.
Sitting down and standing up hurts. Not much right now, but it does and it's getting worse.
Exceedingly more and more troubles sleeping.
Memory has been going rapidly downhill since mid-high school.
A growing lethargy of "I really feel too tired to do anything after work" juxtaposed with a constant sense of "I have a whole bunch of personal projects I want to get done". This one is really bugging me the most as of late. I have a whole ton of different things I'd love to get done... but I can't find the time or the energy to get started, even knowing that once I do get started momentum will pick up quickly enough.

My likes and dislikes haven't changed since I was 20, but now people dismiss any grievance I might have because I am "growing old and grumpy."
I don't dislike [something] because I'm "too old to get it", I have never liked [something]. :p

Gaming with a young couple - they weren´t even born when I started gaming. (I will be gaming for 30 years next year) Hell, the father of that girl (she´s 20) is about my age, she told me. I do feel old now.

Count yourself lucky that it only started now.
My hair started its long, slow march from my head towards my back when I was in my early 20s.
I sound just like my mother. And I swore that that would never happen.
Every time I see a hot woman in the streets or where ever only one moment away waits the realization that she is too young (or I am too old).
I am sure there are hot women my age, but they seem all to hide at home caring for their children or something.

Seeing an attractive and under dressed female of questionable age (17-19ish) and instead of thinking "Awesome!," I end up thinking "Who let her out of the house like that...where is her father..,"
But that could my age or could be that I have a daughter of my own now lol.

The moment of sheer terror when my fiance was running her fingers through my hair and said "Hey a grey!".
Also when my mother a few weeks later said that she could see the skin of my head more clearly through my hair.
I could drink 3-4 liters of coke for an evening of gaming and not wake up with a horrid heartburn. Not so any more.
I could play games all night long. Now i get sleepy after 11 o clock.
I started hating young people.
Modern music sucks.
The horrible realization that the girl I've been ogling could be my daughter (just barely)
Realization that yes, the adults were mostly right with their lectures.
Empathy is not overrated.
There is more, this was off the top of my head.
Also, I'm 27.

2) arrogant kids who think they invented everything when we came up with it twenty years before then (and our parent 20 years before that), and almost certainly better.p
3) when i was young, it was the mothers of women i wanted to date who liked me, never the daughters. Now I'm old, its the daughters who are into me, not the mothers. I seem to have bypassed any sort of sweet spot in the middle,..
