Hi
That's 2 + (Int Mod) skill points/level.
And it's a melee/spell caster, casting combat spells in armour. BAB & spell progression similar to the Bard.
I use mine as support character - granting flanking, attacking things that require magic/elemental weapons to hit, etc. Though I do have Wandstrike & wand of Truestrike.
Oracles can gain extra spells known each level,(one level less than max level they can cast), so I hope they get something similar.
Thanks

As they're a prepared spellcaster like the Wizard, with a spellbook, then assuming you can learn an extra spell with the favored class bonus then I certainly wouldn't. You just spend the cash. Considering how few spells you get to cast, are you going to want that many at each level?

I know this question was asked before but my search-fu isn't finding an official answer.
With Ultimate Magic we got the Magus base class and also the Magus archetypes, but we didn't get racial favored class options for the class.
Are these going to be published in a future product? Errata?
I would imagine that some fraction of arcane pool points would be one option.
Personally I'd rather see favored class options not tied to race, but just tied to the class. Favored class was removed from racial lines in the core book and I don't really care that they added them back in with the APG.

I agree, especially when they specifically leave out favored class options for certain race/class combos like they did for Dwarves and the Summoner unless that was errataed back in. It should be just be options independent of race because invariably one race will have a class option that's more attractive than the rest in most cases.

Personally, I disagree. I see those options (most of them anyway) as a way to empower some unusual race/class combos, like dwarven sorceror or halfling fighter, etc, that you might not otherwise take because of penalties to primary attributes.

I agree with Rubia.
Otherwise you might start having elves running around as alchemists using extra bombs per day + extra bomb damage favored class abilities. Instead of things like gnomes or half-orc alchemists.
Personally though I would like "The Big Book of Races" to come along and increase the number of races that are available as well as add in all the favored class options.

Except in the APG they excluded some race/class combos so you fell back to +1skill or +1hp. Either make alternate racials for EVERY class/race combo or don't tie race to class or favored class options.

No idea if there's to be anything official, but in the meantime with a pitiful base 2 Skill points per level, and only a d8 Hit die for a melee character, I'd suggest that taking the Skill point or the Hit Point are probably better choices anyway... ;)
Heh... probably. It just seems odd that after they had mentioned that they had learned their lesson from the APG about not fulling fleshing out the base classes in that one book that they would have made sure to be complete in UM.
