...together with his semi-pornstarlet girlfriend...:/
Nothing 'semi' about Carolin Berger aka 'Sexy Cora', she was pretty hardcore. Sadly, she died this year from complications with her breast enlargement surgery.
And yes 'Kira-Gate' was quite an interesting experience; that character was coming to a messy (not in the way the player was hoping) ending very quickly. Winter would have taken it well, as Erastil teaches us that sometimes the only way to deal with a crazy animal is to put it out of its misery.
On a side note, when I planned Winter he was originally going to be a Paladin OR a Cleric, and ended up as a Cleric a bit by default. I haven't completely dropped him being a little bit Paladin though :p

@ The Second Darkness guys - some questions:
Does any of you know about your XPs?
What did you expect to happen in the alley you are now all waiting?
What did you plan for the next day?
Did Saul tell you anything about your new tasks at the Gambling Hall?
-----
I finished my profile, if you could please check if I included anything, thank you.
As soon as I got answers to my questions above, I will resurrect the campaign.
Where is this profile to be found?

Sebastian is wishing strange woman would walk by him flipping him coins. He still has his boyish good looks and could use the money...a job's and job...and somebody has to do it.
Lol, well Sebastian the only in game reason Winter got the coin and not you was because he was the first to turn and face her in the shadows, calling her out. If it helps at all, if you mention around Bree that you're hungry and broke, she will find a way to feed you. She spent too much time on the streets as a young girl, and then as a young woman having to beg, borrow and steal to eat.
EDIT: Duh, I just realized you did mention being hungry and hoping to get coins so that you could eat in front of Bree. Gah, maybe 13 hours of sleep wasn't enough...

If you click on the Profile Pic of "ZZ- - Heart of Riddles" you will find he puts all our campaign need to know info like maps key NPC's and dates/etc all in there, as well as your individual XP tally.
He does that for each campaign, very handy.

Jeez!
I go away to the Hippy Festival today and come back to a wall of text :P
Hippy festival was awesome, its kinf of a big deal - the 'Winter Magic' festival up in the moutains to celebrate the Winter solstice. Brings out all the alternative types; Hippies, Goths, Steampunkers...and the crazy Pagans having their big bonfires and Druid ceremonies later. It's a great event - just boneshatteringly cold up in the moutains. I dont know how all those svelte little mountain girls can wear such little clothing in all that.
Campfires - Anything can be cooked on a campfire. When I go out field and we have the 'once in a millenium opporunity' for a campfire, my favourite is to make a rice pudding combining freeze dried rice, a splash of water, a couple of sugar sachets and a tube of condensed milk in a cups canteen. Sometimes its worth adding bits of the 'fruit strip' in there as well (you know, that plasticy dried fruit junk that kids get in their lunch boxes?).
Another favourite for a campfire is cooking damper which I always used to do on 'normal camping', nothing beats a bit of fresh damper to go with a bit of 'billy tea' (no its not some illicit substance, its tea cooked up in a billy, google it!)
Afghanistan Broke? what like the rest of the world? Their only problem is there's only so much debt they can coerce others to 'cover'. They are consumers, with little assets, and very little means of production (other than opium - a different story) although they used to do great trade as a tourist destination before the Taliban, so maybe after the mess is fixed and they can self govern it will be better again, dunno. Pakistans biggest problem, is Pakistan. Global stability (or instability) makes for fascinating studies :p
HOR Nah, I think its slow as theres not much you can chat about as we move from spot to spot. Waiting for someone to check a door is a bit...lacking in inspiring one to post lots. :p
Sexy Cora Ummm, probably the same way a lot of people have come across her 'work'... the internetz is global.

*shivers*
@ HORs: Is the dungeons somehow sucking your vitae out? I know Karlan said he had to post less, but what about Emil?
I'm sorry. Real-life is sucking for me at the moment so I've lost some of my general enthuse about everything. Emil is stuck at work during the days so that's essentially 10 hours he can't post (or so - or that's my impression).

DM Harpwizard |

@ DMHW: Very nice duengeon map, I like that one.
I am glad you like it. Do you recognize it, or is it new for you? Another question. On map tools, is it possible to get the tokens to not snap to grid? I want to put the dog in the cage, but not have to shift the entire grid. Oh, hello folks. I did not mean to barge in here and talk shop with the drow maiden. Can I offer you some treats? Here try some Vermont made maple candies. Be careful, they are very sweet!

Heavy Harry |

Smiting things with icky claws adn teeth.
Reckon we might get that in spades before long, SURELY theres more than three nasties down here :p

Zyren Zemerys |

Ok, then I'm relieved, I thought the dungeon might be not that cool.
@DMHW: No, not yet. Is the dungeon from red Hand of Doom?
And yes, right click on the token, then enable "Snap to Grid", then you can move it freely.
@ Shifty: Sounds like a great festival!
I just came back from the tattooist, next project: Holy symbol of Groetus by end of July.

DM Harpwizard |

I was planning to use it once the party got to fifth level, but at the moment I'm just using the maps and a few of the characters. I know where we will end up, but I don't know what the road is like to get us there.
We are losing Thordak next Friday for six weeks. He will be working in the woods and completely out of contact, but he will be with us again around August 10th. I am not fond of the idea of Dmpcing for that duration. Do think a substitute could work? Do you think someone would want to come in and run a his dwarven ranger for a limited amount of time?

Kyren Tosscobble |

Zyren, sorry about that last post. I edited it. Kyren is not so absent minded as much as his player. I had graduation last night and didn't get home until 1 a.m. I was in charge of organizing the entire event and afterwards I was out late partying last night. I am still a little out of it this morning. Of course, Kyren will stay and help!

DM Harpwizard |

Cebrë is run by an engineer that is a little busy at work right now. He loves it, but doesn't have much time right now. I am happy to be patient and wait, but I think he may resign soon. I was hoping that he would be back soon, but no luck yet.
Regarding Thordak, we were not going to give away his password as much as have someone duplicate a clone of his character that that person would run. We also talked about having Thordak run away into the woods to have him run with the wolves for a while! :-)

DM Harpwizard |

In that case we were only four left...but who would be willing to play a character only for 6 weeks?
That's what I was thinking. Also, who would want to play a character that wasn't really their own? I think the party could still defend themselves pretty well, I think I will just miss his colorful posts. To be honest, I will also miss him as a student. He just graduated high school as valedictorian of his small class of 17, and he is going to Tufts University next year in September. At least he has informed me that he is eager to keep playing all through college! :-)

...and the crazy Pagans having their big bonfires and Druid ceremonies later.
Yeah, us pagans are pretty crazy like that. We love to burn things of all sorts.
Zyren, Sable, be nice to Sebastian! Characters with a plethora of useless knowledge are freaking awesome! Way better than creepy witch elves with even creepier birds :P

Haha, and yes she finally heard him speak!

The last time I was at a Solstice festival, it looked like This
@ Shifty, any photos you'd like to share?

Sebastian DeGray |

Intelligence isn't the problem with Sebastian, its the lack of wisdom to apply it. And he has so much to say on a subject, he wants to be helpful, but often loses track of what the original topic was......
He is purposefully verbose, but I hope not too annoying to the other players....That can be said about a few of the other PCs in this game too. :p

Shifty |

Nah not much of a photograper, I really should pick up a camera one day and have a good go at it.
Photos on that - dont think they really capture much other than the basic cheeze non-controversial shots, but the scope of it become clear, a lot of venues and a big main street blocked off.
This weekend I was supposed to be out on a range, but couldn't go because of med restrictions... so the Festival was plan B. It's a great Plan B though; I was raised as a Hippy Love-Child so its good for my kid to get an understanding of what it is to be a peace-loving moon baby tree hugger.
