Hey my GF currently plays a Druid in our campaign and I recently got the Advance Players Book. After she was looking at the Witch Class she was thinking about multi-classing into it.
So I came here to ask if anybody else has tried this or know of any good ideas etc to make it work well. Currently she is a lvl 7 Druid.

She's going to be using a different casting stat, and going to lose spell progression on a full-casting class (druid). Generally, from a power standpoint, this sort of thing is discouraged.
BUT
That doesn't really matter, because if she wants to do it, there's nothing wrong with it. Have fun!
+1 to this.
However a 1 lvl dip to pick up access to a few hexes and class bonus on a few skills or witch only spells can make for a wonderful character.
The additional animal companion (familiar) to keep track of will slow down the game a bit since she'll have so much more to keep track of.

Most hexes do not work with a dip because their saving throw DC is based on Witch level. But the healing hexes, ward, and fortune could be useful for a Druid -- their limitation is only working daily for any one creature, but a Druid can summon lots of creatures!.
The new UM hex Feral Speech allows talking to almost any animal, all the time, without a spell. It's what many Druids long for.
Since Extra Hex is a feat, one level dip into Witch can allow lots of hexes.
