Hey!!

Recently fixing to start a new campaign and I love playing Gnomes. Though I've never really played a melee and Paladin has been catching my interest.

Only issue is most of my group when I play with Paladins are the lawful stupid/if it's evil just kill it mentality(Which I don't wanna play). So I'm wanting to have some fun with this character/class combination and was curious on what you guys have come up with before or ideas.

Thanks!

Sweet thanks! that's why I was mostly confused because of the Oracle guide that mentioned Oracle 4/Barb 2. Though didn't mention needing Oracle 5 for the curse bonus of fatigue. Thanks!!

Alright I think I know the answer to this like everything else seems straight forward but I just want to make sure.

If I go Oracle 4 Barbarian 1 for example.

I have the Oracle Curse-Lame at lvl 5 I get the ability to not be fatigued. So I only get this at being lvl 5 Oracle or do I get it since my character is lvl 5, even if my job isn't?

Thanks

@Zwordsman yeah I just now figured that out in this thread. lol

@Blackbloodtroll in this campaign he made up the deities so I currently really don't know about the deity that picked me so it will show up later in the campaign.

@Veterinarian I kinda like that idea it seems alot of fun and fits my sytle.

The only other option was thinking on going Rage Prophet. lol

Thanks for all this help guys!

Cloak of Darkness for the extra stealth and AC.
Interstellar Void since its a quick amount of damage if I need it(not that great but it worked).

I am looking at all the interesting combinations I can do with Many Forms.

Also, you get the Cure spells for free for being an Oracle; that's a few more spells known, for a start.

Really? We weren't for sure if that counted as free or if I could only pick cure light or wounds all together. That will help out alot!

Well in the very first encounter my Oracle got crited by a great axe and killed right away(sucked). So instead of scratching it he had him resurrected by another deity than the one that originally blessed him.

So because of that he became attached to her and got the Dark Tapestry Mystery.

Well unfortunately I have to stick with Dark Tapestry as part of the story. I was really thinking on going Ancestor or Battle.

I'm not really focused on caster or melee at the moment it's kind of up in the air.

Since we haven't had a healer I currently have the standard lvl 0 spells.

Lvl 1-Cure Light Wounds, Summon Monster, Comprehend Languages
Lvl 2-Cure Mod Wounds.

The party currently has a Fighter, Sorcerer, Summoner, Inquisitor, and Monk.

I'm mostly wanting to try and fill in any role we need which is why I have healing abilities(even though combat healing sucks atm). The DM does hand out alot of cure potions etc so me being a heal-bot isn't really needed.

I'm use to Bards so I've always had the jack of all trades mentality.

Hi!!

I need some help with my Kitsune Oracle I made since he has a little trouble in combat etc and not helping the party too much at our lvl. So I want all feedback advice tips etc! I've read all the main guides but I wouldn't mind some one-on-one tips etc.

My stats are
Lvl-4
HP-30
Str:16
Dex:18
Con:14
Int:12
Wis:10
Cha:20

I'm more melee in stats because our original party didn't have a fighter so I wanted to help the tanking roll a little.

My current set up is Mystery:Dark Tapestry and Curse:Lame

I'm not really sure what I want to do for him right now I'm the groups main talking in the party. Even though we have a lot of cha classes I'm the best one at rping/talking.

I know I'm low lvl but I still want to see what I can do to help out, also we just hit lvl 5. My DM is also going to let me re-pick my feats if I need too since I went with the Kitsune Tails but they are proving to be really lack luster.

Thanks!

Thanks!!

Fighter 3/Cavalier 2/ Bard 1/Battle Herald

I'm actually really curious on this build and how it plays since I've been wanting to make a Battle Herald for my next game.

Thank you!

A simple question on the rule with Glitterdust. Does it effect my team? So if I'm in a group of enemies with my team I use Glitterdust will it blind them too?

I really like the 1 point into Witch, so that can open up the talents to get more hexes for support.

Thanks! That answered all the questions I had!

Hey I was looking at the Synthesist for the Summoner and had a few questions about it.

1. It says you use it's base attack bonus but then it says you gain its natural armor and ability scores. So do you add on the armor/ability scores or just replace yours?

2. About the attacks and spells casted. Let's say your Eidolon has 3 attacks and ability to use magic. Can it cast magic/or attack then you can do your own attack or cast magic? Or can you only attack the max times for your Eidolon or cast a spell instead?

Shocking Grasp can also be quite nice as a reach spell, especially with the addition of Intensify Spell.

Oooo I really like that feat. I'm going to have to get this book and see what else it has added.

Thanks for the Advice, by the time I get Magician 2 I'll have gotten the book to take a look at those spells and so our DM will let me use them.

I'm currently Rogue2/Bard5 I took Shocking Grasp as my Magician 1(So I could use it with my Weasel Familiar).

I'll be taking next lvl in Rogue then start all lvls into Arcane Trickster so when I get Magician 2 I'll have a higher spell casting lvl.

Thanks alot I forgot about the different casting stat when glancing over both the classes.

I can help her out a little now with this, thanks again!

Hey, this board has been great for me to find alot of advice on builds etc.

I've been playing a Bard with the Magician set from the APG. I'm going to become a Arcane Trickster and since I can pick up other spells from a Arcane Spell List I was curious on what would be the best spell to use with Surprise Spell.

Hey my GF currently plays a Druid in our campaign and I recently got the Advance Players Book. After she was looking at the Witch Class she was thinking about multi-classing into it.

So I came here to ask if anybody else has tried this or know of any good ideas etc to make it work well. Currently she is a lvl 7 Druid.
