Slaadi are PI?

I can't find a reference on the internet, so i came to ask here, where everyone knows everything :D

So are they, and if they are not, i hope that we can expect them in bestiary 3.

You won't see them in anything Pathfinder. WotC owns them.

Personally, I like the proteans a whole lot more and hope to see more of them.

The Slaad are not part of the SRD, so Paizo can't use them (like Beholders and Mind Flayers).

Slaad are the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter?

Who knew.

There are Slaadi Lords in theTome of Horrors. But no standard Slaads.

Standard Slaads! Ha ha. Sorry.

Ha!

Garden-variety slaads?

I'm sure I'm not the only DM who threatened to run his players up against Green Slaads, which would be followed by Tossed Slaads, Caeser Slaads, and Potato Slaads...

Then there was the "Mashed Potato Man" they encountered, a Lemure. Led to the Best. Gaming. Quote. EVAR.

Yeah, I've never thought of Slaadi as being the same as Proteans. I've always thought of the Slaadi being a more "evil" CN and Proteans as a more neutral "CN."

And I love Slaadi -- merely "like" Proteans.

I miss them.

Yeah, the frogs are right out. Good riddance to them. They failed at being true chaotic. Most of them were tainted by evil.

All hail our serpentine anarchons!

You also forgot to use the correct alt.

I noticed when going back and looking at my The End of Eternity, the proteans were missing the ecology section of their stat blocks. Were these posted anywhere, and if so, could someone provide a link.

The ecology section of the statblocks exist in the Bestiary 2 updates:

Spoiler:

Imentesh:
Environment: any (limbo)
Organization: solitary, pair, or envoy (3-10)
Treasure: standard

Keketar:
Environment: any (limbo)
Organization: solitary or chorus (2-4)
Treasure: standard

Naunet:
Environment: any (limbo)
Organization: solitary, pair, or cacophony (3-12)
Treasure: none

Voidworm:
Environment: any (limbo)
Organization: solitary, pair, or school (3-18)
Treasure: none

In addition, there are Ecology sections in the writeups for them in The End of Eternity, although not in the statblock itself.

No information on advancement (or if there are LA) for the 3.5 versions. That is a bit disappointing. I had hoped maybe it had accidentally got left on the editing room floor. Well I'll have to just make do.

You deserve all the credit you deserve for giving an evershifting face to the best force in the 'verse (pure chaos).

The slaadi are actually the highest possible level of Product Identity, what the ancient Romans would have called "magnum PI".

They were updated to the PFRPG with the name Chaosiic in Forgotten Foes.

Why the name change?
