Very true it does not make a whole bunch of sense. Still love the scene and the lines. "Hey buddy you can't do that in here." Arnold: "Wrong"

It's also not that frightening a weapon given my light bulb is 60 watt. So far, it hasn't killed me.

Yep. Pretty good role, considering he only had 16 lines in the whole film.

Come on guys -- give Heath his props.
He's been waiting YEARS to post this, probably had his phone calendar set for this date.
And we're all jealous cuz we didn't.
(At least, I am!)
(lol) I actually got it from a friend on fbook; my wife said the same thing of him.
Oh, and my middle kid and Skynet have the same bday.....she's 6 years older though.

The parsec is a measure of distance. The problem is that it seems to have been used as a measure of speed / time.
It also may be that Ahnold couldn't wrap his mouth around kilowatt at that time ... and I do not believe that Terminator had a particularly generous multiple-takes budget ...

The future sucks.
Oh man... When I was in Kentucky I was told all sorts of dates for the Rapture.
My favorite dooms day was June 6th, 2006. I watched a drunk guy argue with six Mormon missionaries for 45 minutes over the world ending that very day! It was pretty hilarious.
As for movie doom dates, I am pretty bummed out I can't do Death Races now that 2000 has come and gone. I was really looking forward to Euthanasia Day at the hospital. (Let's see who picks up that reference.)

No worries really. It's already happened, we're just reliving the past as part of computer simulated world while our real bodies are entombed in caskets with machines tending to our biological needs in a parasitic relationship due to their electricity harvesting... riiiight.
God I hope so! I'd hate to think this is the real world.

As long as those resistance jerks appear I'm cool with it.
I don't know you but I rather live here than one of those damp dark caves of theirs. I for one welcome our robot overlords as long as they keep the internet up.The day they take my games away I'ma going all Duke Nukem on them tough.
