8:11 in what time zone?

Zulu time?

Zulu time is already 1am tomorrow. By this logic, Skynet has been plotting our destruction for 5 hours already.

It's the 20th......29 hours......

Oh. Whew. I was starting to panic.

This is LTC Dibbley of the Texas Rangers: Dallas chapter of the resistance. If anybody's out there, I just want you to keep the faith. We can win this.

*Yawn* Oh look. Resistance. How quaint.

Mr Fishy's #35 Mini-onion recommends a well-planned poo bombardment.

Hehehe, fishy is adorable.

Damn that Skynet! I was around before him! Or was I? Damn all this time travel crap!

I recommend you all begin rubbing me all over yourselves. Or else you are apt to have a very bad day...

I just hope to get my plasma rifle 40 watt range, to go with my uzi 9mm, 45 long slide with laser sighting.

Here's hoping they never found Sarah Connor or John. Otherwise I am leading the rebellion and we're all screwed.

Again, another movie line that doesn't quite make sense. A watt isn't a measure of distance. Kind of like "...made the Kessel run in 12 parsecs."

Silver Crusade

One of these days, a SciFi work that set a specific date is going to get something right.

Very true it does not make a whole bunch of sense. Still love the scene and the lines. "Hey buddy you can't do that in here." Arnold: "Wrong"

I'm still disenchanted by the fact that a rogue planet didn't break the moon in half and unleash a wave of natural disasters in 1994.

The future sucks.

It's also not that frightening a weapon given my light bulb is 60 watt. So far, it hasn't killed me.

Robots and computers taking over? Pfft.

What's this? What was a triumph? A note of what? Huge success? Who's singing here?

Does it smell like neurotoxin in here?

Yep. Pretty good role, considering he only had 16 lines in the whole film.

Come on guys -- give Heath his props.

He's been waiting YEARS to post this, probably had his phone calendar set for this date.

And we're all jealous cuz we didn't.

(At least, I am!)

Eh, there's still the Rapture next month. And 2012 after that.

Oh, and my middle kid and Skynet have the same bday.....she's 6 years older though.

The parsec is a measure of distance. The problem is that it seems to have been used as a measure of speed / time.

It also may be that Ahnold couldn't wrap his mouth around kilowatt at that time ... and I do not believe that Terminator had a particularly generous multiple-takes budget ...

Oh man... When I was in Kentucky I was told all sorts of dates for the Rapture.

My favorite dooms day was June 6th, 2006. I watched a drunk guy argue with six Mormon missionaries for 45 minutes over the world ending that very day! It was pretty hilarious.

As for movie doom dates, I am pretty bummed out I can't do Death Races now that 2000 has come and gone. I was really looking forward to Euthanasia Day at the hospital. (Let's see who picks up that reference.)

Death Race 2000! Go Frankenstein!

As a construct myself, I have very little to fear from Skynet besides reprogramming. Although my caffiene dependancy will probably render me less than useful to Skynet.

No worries really. It's already happened, we're just reliving the past as part of computer simulated world while our real bodies are entombed in caskets with machines tending to our biological needs in a parasitic relationship due to their electricity harvesting... riiiight.

Obviously Skynet has seen the mnovies and is rethinking it 'Take over the world' scheme.

God I hope so! I'd hate to think this is the real world.

Judgement Day's only been moved three times. I'm sure it's been moved again and causality just hasn't caught up yet as the next film's still in pre-production.

Hey Mikhaila! Fancy seeing you round these parts!

But I'm sure I was involved in a telephone link up, August '96, waiting for the network to come crashing down around us as Skynet fired up.

We were let down then, too.

Shall we play a game?

I'm rather busy at the moment. Can it wait until after I have the launch codes?

As long as those resistance jerks appear I'm cool with it.

I don't know you but I rather live here than one of those damp dark caves of theirs. I for one welcome our robot overlords as long as they keep the internet up.
The day they take my games away I'ma going all Duke Nukem on them tough.

Can I be a robot overlord? Can I? Can I? Huh?
