From Paizo's facebook page:
Hmmm. Just got off the phone with Necromancer Games's Clark Peterson, who is looking to get back into the RPG biz publishing Pathfinder-compatible PDFs! He's still in the planning stages, so help him out with your suggestions of what he should do by posting a comment below!
Now if Monte Cook could just restart Malhavoc Press....

I like challenging modules, however please try to avoid situations where the player feels they did everything right that they could and they still ended up slaughtered.
In my opinion, challenging modules should set more challenging situations, and punish mistakes more severely than more forgiving modules, but they should still be survivable with good play.
I know you're fans of Tomb of Horrors (as am I), but remember the resources that the players had against this at the time (in campaign play, I seem to remember reading that one of the Gygaxes sent reams of charmed orcs up ahead all the time, for example).
I'm a big fan of your material, BTW. It's just that sometimes I've had to tone down some of your content because I just felt it went too far.
Richard

I'd like to see adventures that aren't a total bloodbath, but that remain challenging which also feature good opportunities for roleplaying. I love dungeon crawls, but it's always good to break up the violence with role-playing opportunities.
I'd also like to see an adventure or small adventure path based on the slow advancement track.

Gorbacz wrote:How does that fit with Frog God Games?Wait... What? So Frog God Games and Necromancer Games are now BOTH going to do Pathfinder material? Wasn't this the reason they split the company in the first place?
From what I read on EnWorld, Clark Peterson's career changed dramatically over the past few years (becoming a judge) making time for a side RPG business difficult. Thus his partner created Frog God Games. Sounds like life has become more manageable for Judge Peterson and now he'd like to be judge, jury and executioner. Loved Necromancer's killer modules so hopefully what he creates continues in that vein.

Next stop, The Supreme Court!
That would result in some proper sentencing, at last;
"Three Strikes and you run the gauntlet of Rappan Athuk!"

Alzrius |
A Pathfinder version of Rappan Athuk would be nice; he could call it Rappan Athuk Revolutions!
Beyond that, I'd like to see some high-level adventures, like 16+ in terms of PC levels. We don't have enough of those, and they're perfect for that deadly "First Edition Feel."

Bill is doing great with Frog God. His stuff is awesome.
I've been thinking about doing my own thing, not bringing Necromancer back. So it wont be Frog God and Necro. It will be Frog God doing their thing and me doing my own thing (or, well, you'll see).
Necro was Bill and my shared vision. It was great. It was also 3E. There are all sorts of reasons for Necro to stay as it is and for Bill and I to move on from it. Its clearer from a business and IP standpoint to do that. He's done that. I've been waiting...
But the time is now.
I'm up to something. Not ready to say just what it is yet. But Paizo will be the first to know.
And it will be Pathfinder. Pathfinder is the game that has the soul of what D&D was coupled with proper changes for the modern game. That is what I want to support. Plus, I love all the people at Paizo and I love what they are all about. And the community here is just second to none.
You'll be hearing from me...

This IS Awesome!
Thank you for clarifying as much as possible.
Now with this new information, in addition to high level adventures others have requested; I ask for Epic Rules (level 20+) from you good sir. If anyone can do it right, you can.
Cheers!

Is there any chance of Scarred Lands for Pathfinder? There is already a lot of support for PFRPG in the form of new classes, feats, spells and adventures, but I feel that there is nowhere near enough campaign oriented fluff. Golarion is great setting, don't get me wrong, but I think that we need a bit diversity. So, Scarred Lands?

I believe Scarred Lands is owned by White Wolf, makers of World of Darkness series (Vampire: the Requiem, etc.) Last I heard, Fiery Dragon (part of Mongoose Publishing?) had rights to at least some parts of Scarred Lands. (Probably by licensing).

IIRC, that's the plan. The problem, at least for Pathfinder fans, is that those plans are for a 4e version of the Scarred Lands, not Pathfinder.
And yes, welcome back Clark. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Zounds!
This is some exciting news! (And unexpected). Allow me to echo many of the sentiments already given and say welcome back Clark!
I've given Frog God Games some support recently, and I'm curious to see what you have in mind. (Oh, my aching bank account). ;)

So question if clark is aboot. Who has release a bunch of stuff recently under the necromancer label?? Not that it matters, Im still gonna buy it either way.
Bill Webb and Clark released a few things not to long ago under Necro. The final books that was done but never released. After that Bill wanted to keep going but due to RL Clark wasn't able to at the time so Bill spun things off into Frog God Games for legal reason.

By the way, Clark - if you are reading these comments - I occupy a tiny place on two messageboards. This one and your own Necromancer messageboards. I just wanted to say that the Necromancer people ARE second to none. The ones who still post frequently kept the fire alive. I think they would love it if you were to go back there and give them a hollar as well for old time's sake at least.

Hmmm. There's been no response so far from the Paizo about my query above. Then there's Mairkurion's laugh. Finally, what did Clark mean by the sentence below (bold is mine)?
It will be Frog God doing their thing and me doing my own thing (or, well, you'll see).

I think you can be certain that Clark will not be joining Paizo as an employee, (a freelancer is another issue entirely) at least not until science discovers a real way to clone people.
